hi I'm French and rollerblading died in France, so it's hard to get advice. So I'd like to ask your advice. I used to rollerblade a long time ago on roces majestic 12, I had a good level but it's been more than 20 years since I've rollerbladed. I'd like to buy some and I'm hesitating between the razor shift and the aeon 60. Which are better for "beginners" ? Which is more forgiving of mistakes ? The easiest to lock onto the rails ? Thanks

My first aggressive skates were the Rollerblade G back in 97/98ish. Still have em collecting dust in the basement. Skating USD now, but those held up pretty good for a long time.

I know this is a bit of an old video. I've just purchased a set. I'm now waiting for them to be delivered. I haven't bladed much for the past 20+ years. See if I've still got it.

I’m amazed by how much this guy knows about skate products. He goes into such depth & mentions things I’ve never even heard or thought of. Big ups Law, you’re *the* man!

Awesome review. But I'm so glad I got my standard omni's instead. It was a tight race but now I own two pairs of omni's and standard is my new chosen company for all my skating gear. Them 909s are a big company only cuz of their marketing. They r great skates but they have some hidden issues that I don't think are being talked about enough. And they have some odd lines on the boots. The pink ones are hot the bacemints but at 550$ ur getting into carbon territory. Grant it their a full set up not boot only but they cuda shaved a hundred $ off the pinks. Them is about money more and not personable. I own Alot of skates and I guess standard the company just won me over. Be careful who u buy from. Do they as a company have ur best interest in mind.? Do they care? These are the questions we need to ask ourselves so the right folks get paid.

I just got some entry level calary inline blades size 12.. the liner is a bit smaller than the boot itself. I was wondering what liner do you recommend for a wide 12 foot ?

Makes absolutely perfect sense. I got some entry level calary size 12 and the lines seems like it's for an 11.. would heat molding the liner be an option?

Something ive learned ..get a stool or a chair..and use it for stability ..have the stool over the p rail..jump on the rail ..while holding the chair for balance...it will help you get the feel of the lock ..then rest on the chair less ad less..then remove it ..then stall the grind...than roll into the grind..thats my progression for learning a new grind.. it helps to take out the scare factor.

Hi, my only question is, when can I buy these 90's frames here in Germany? I like plastic frames, because they are so comfortable on rough asphalt. Maybe they are not the most efficient, but who cares about efficiency while skating? Just have fun! And the rockering ability seems to me a perfect way to play around with different setups.

Holy flat 90mm UFS frames. You’re a legend Law! Any timings on them landing @ Loco!? I think it’s great you’ve done this. There are so many rockered UFS frames out there at 90mm now. I personally want flat for 90mm and rockered @ 100mm upwards. A traditional flat 90mm frame is sorely under-looked these days

There is a new Ground Control FSK UFS 90mm frame that is already at loco too. Adapt have a 165mm mount one. There are very few flat, 90mm frames on the market. It’s nice to have more. I saw people in the comments saying the same in Ricardo’s video about his YoYo frame

Good morning, I'm 52 and with a hip replacement so I have to be very careful. I purchased 2024 Rollerblade Lightning 80, but these wheels are far too large for me. I'm just too unstable at six feet tall. And falling is a very bad idea for me with a joint replacement. So the question I can't seem to get a good answer to is this: Can I take a pair of 68mm wheels and put them on my Rollerblade Lightnings? All I'm doing is fitness skating. Rollerblade said I could get away with 72mm, but would 68mm fit that frame. Please help and thanks in advance. Mark

It sounds like these pads use D3O smart foam technology and just rebranded it smartflex. Smart foam starts as a non-Newtonian fluid that is turned into foam that retains the same properties it in liquid form. It can be twisted, folded, squeezed into a ball, but if it receives an impact of sufficient force, it becomes momentarily hard like plastic.
