Hey, listen Guy did you ever think in your video who the case is for? It’s for me the DJ I don’t care if you’re the person doesn’t like it I don’t care if I ever sell it. I need to make money comfortably. This is a tool. It’s not something I sell.
@oldschooldjernie6 күн бұрын
sooner or later my friend, you are going to want to get rid of it. Mark my words. Nothing is cool forever. Do you still have a 2005 desktop computer and CRT monitor? Do you still have a cell phone from 2006? You will want to sell the case and having shit holes all over it limits people from wanting it. Just a fact of life. Cheers

Neil seriously is the master truth-teller of the world of classic rock
@oldschooldjernie21 күн бұрын
what really shocking is that Neil can make tons of money letting others play his music on different platforms, but he refuses to let anyone to do his work. The funny thing is that just a line of his music gets played on KZbin, he gets residuals. But he's not into that. Like Prince was, he isn't into making money from residuals. Strange fellows.

I still don’t understand why there’s very few real wireless speaker options. This one where they trimmed down the options from the pro model, Vocopro Silent PA series, and Sennheiser Wireless Speaker System which isn’t even a real system just a package of another system. Vocopro seems to be the best for wireless speakers having usb charging of AA batteries which is a great feature but it’s cheap gear.
@oldschooldjernie28 күн бұрын
I've used the VocoPro Silent PA for 3 years and about 8 months ago I noticed on a certain song, "Hotel California" The live version, the guitar sounded muffled. It bugged me so much I looked for an alternative. The VocoPro Silent PA did have a great range of over 125 feet, but the sound on that one track bugged me. I should admit the VocoPro is actually an IEM so sound quality is good but not exactly for pure clear playback on my JBL's, As for the charging of the AA batteries, that is a plus to almost all of the IEMs. The Alto Stealth I now have has to use a 12v adapter in order to operate which is a hassle. But thanks for watching my video, I know its long but I didn't want to leave anything out.
@cduemig128 күн бұрын
@@oldschooldjernie thanks for the feedback. Right after posting that I found the Shure SLX-D system that has a body pack receiver. Looks like it has all the features and more of the Vocopro but it’s a little more than double the price. Still could be a good option though the digital systems have a more limited range so I’d need to test it.

This is horrible advice. 1 time dropping it and your files are gone. Get a portable nvme ssd. significantly faster and decently priced. Score a 10$ nvme enclosure and buy the nvme separately. whatever is on sale and is labeled as pcie instead of sata. Also avoid Western DIgital SSD's. Significantly higher failure rate than even cheap budget brands in my not-so limited experience
@oldschooldjernie29 күн бұрын
@@travisholt92 already went that route with Samsung ssds and sold them on eBay. These 2 hdds are sitting in. r oad case with a sc5000 so it doesn't see much handling. I also stream with it so it's a backup device as well.but it it were for a tradition laptop use yes a SSD is fine

well a DJ is gonna be using usb sticks that they can carry in their pocket not two whole ass hard disk drives
@JoeHughesguitar29 күн бұрын
Try dropping each of them and then see which one youd buy. SSD is the smarter call for anyone using gear that gets moved around.
@oldschooldjernie29 күн бұрын
@@JoeHughesguitar y know I never dropped one it's always hooked up to the media player. I guess it's luck but you can drop them and unless it's on concrete from 10 feet it will still work. But it's like a phone you try not to drop them
@bpdmf279829 күн бұрын
@oldschooldjernie A classic HDD will easily be unusable if dropped even 2 feet onto a carpet. Maybe it won't break, maybe you've been lucky, but it's all known that HDD drives are best when they can be left to just sit still. It's because it's mechanical and even a barely bigger than slight bump can jam up the internals and now you're spending like $300 to have the data saved by some data retrieval company. I had a portable HDD that was very reliable for years break when it fell like 3 feet and hit my foot (not even the floor).

@@bpdmf2798 maybe.... but during the 2000's all laptops had spinners in them and did just fine with jolts and bumps.
