I WILL BE DAMNED ! I've driven down to that Hot Spring a dozen times easy , and I never knew of a secondary route . The last time we went down (the main route) it was pretty well chewed up from a flash flood & the 2 wheel Tundra had to be pushed in a few spots on the hair-pin turns . Looks like you had no problems with your jeep . Is that big tree still there , next to the river , right by the big pool ? There was a 50 gallon drum too, for trash .

If I want a bit more response on my throttle and my attitude setup 100 should I take it to something like 1:20
@SamiJumppanen7 жыл бұрын
In short: basic gains are for the autopilot, atti gains are for the (usually) right stick.

Hi I have setup my naza as per ur instructions. It looks stable to me. However it still sinks to ground without holding the attitude

Is putting all the gains settings at 100% ok to do? I recently changed my gains settings because the throttle was pretty touchy. I need a good throttle setting so I'm not taking off too fast or lowering too fast. I don't want those to be so touchy to the point where landing the copter is too fast and sketchy.
@SamiJumppanen7 жыл бұрын
3D Editor there is no gain for throttle response. The same goes for yaw, which is a pity for videographer. Only the roll and yaw gains are there, as can be seen. But there's the catch, at least for me it was until I got it: basic gains control how quickly the autopilot works. Atti gains control how responsive is the stick. DJI really should have told these clearly in the Assistant, but for some reason there's no details.
@SamiJumppanen7 жыл бұрын
3D Editor the basic gains were 100 and too high for me. Flying was good but slightly too fast corrections, causing shaking in my 2D gimbal footage. Lowering to 80 helped to prevent oscillation in high speed. I'm still finding the best gain combination for stable direction plus no shaking.

what size battery are you using and what kind of flight times are you geting.
@gogogorilla1008 жыл бұрын
+Luis River I use a 4s 1550mah battery. Flight times depends on how hard you fly:)

how do you set the flight mode for the frsky on your turnigy 9x? Im having problem. Which channel do you plug to the receiver for U port on the dji naza mlite?

Great explanation of programing the NAZA, receiver and radio. Honestly I never understood how the three really worked together until I saw your video and I have been flying my Naza for over a year. Thanks!

Did u check it?
@hellmud11 жыл бұрын
NIce video! Thanks for that. I did similar configuration few weeks ago and I got an unexpected situation. After config de CH7 for X2 and fix the vslues on NAza software I went to fly, then during flying I tested the failsafe mode. Suddenly the quan cames totally unestable almost falling down, I just get the control again aborting failsafe mode. After check it the problem was that when Naza turned on failsafe the gain values goes to highets values (arround 400%) making the quad totally crazy.

For this flight, I used 9x5 Gemfan carbon filled props ($5 a pair from witespyquad). I'm very happy with those, but you do need to balance them quite a bit sometimes. I've since moved to 10x5's because I went to Tiger motors (980kv) and simonk flashed ESCs. So far I haven't gotten as good results, but I think I may need to play with the gains settings in the Naza. I have noticed that battery life has dropped to about 5 min from 6. I think its a combo of altitude and colder weather.
@bambamquiescence11 жыл бұрын
Also, if you used the same props as normal, did you notice a change in battery life?
@bambamquiescence11 жыл бұрын
Hi! Which props did you use for this? Same as normal or did you pick ones especially to deal with the altitude?

Camera is from helmetcamera dot com, but as long as you get any tube cam that has a namebrand CCD sensor(dont get the cheaper CMOS sensor version), you'll have similar quality. Mine is a Sony CCD I think. I record to a Digital 8 camcorder that works as a VCR in my backpack. The road is awesome, too bad I didn't get video of the backside, but my friends weren't too keen on railing much that day.
