It is amazing how beautiful they can make an RC plane now. When I was a kid, 45 years ago, balsa was all we had to build and fly. Plain Monokote Wing Cover. The models had to actually be made from pieces of wood. And let me tell you, after spending a couple of months or more tediously building one, crashing it meant a whole new dimension of disappointment.

The first and only time I love the L.E.D. afterburner lights for a change. Usually, I think that ruins an otherwise perfect real turbine model. It just doesn't look real, but in this case, you are mad for flying in that fog but that's what makes the afterburner lights look awesome and it looks like you needed those beacon lights as well. Amazing!

Such beautifully detailed and handling large-scale rc models like these can open up almost limitless possibilities for filmmakers who want to make period-piece movies, that would otherwise never be able to because the original (real) old machines are either unflyable, or just don't exist anymore. This would be better than resorting to expensive--and often unconvincing--CGI studios. Implementing FPV cameras/goggles would allow rc pilots to create some spectacular dogfights, I'm sure.

I build a lot of 1/32 Tamiya F4Es. Each can take up to a year build time for all the modifications, add ons and aftermarket part improvements. Many are posed in flight. If I wanted I could make them fly........................once. Excellent build and flying. Nice to see a scale aircraft work so well versus the, 'DNGN' (does nothing, goes nowhere) that I do. Could add to that; 'DTWB' (don't touch, will break) along with ; 'DAWR' (dust attractor, women repeller)

Same idea I had. There seems to be a touch of added smoke oil in the exhaust right as the burner gets turned off just like the real J-79 engine of the F-4. First time I have seen scale looking smoke like that, not "airshow smoke", but simulating the real exhaust.
