As a Thor main i would add that after you use any ability you gain a point of thorforce for hitting the enemy. So dont get too horny an spam your bubble when you should save. Instead learn to poke effectively when you need with your throw and then make sure you land your dashes and an immediate bash hit. By then you should be able to dash again bullying the other team around. Dont be afraid to get creative with the dash since its directional and get in close before you awaken since you do nearby damage with the hammer floating near you

"Pure staggering" Gosaku is (was) the best armor I got to enter any duel and win with ease (... pending good parry/dodge discipline)... ... then in the late game (still my first PC playthrough) I studied a cheesy "infinite resolve" Samurai armor set up that is: - virtual immortal (each hit create more resolve than those I use even taking hits and standing still) - virtual infinite Heavenly Strike capable, once charged up by taking hits left, right and center ... I kept the second, but just for the novelty of it, meanwhile I'm planning to make more actually "player skill based" builds once I'll have all the charms from the NG+, to actually "develope combat skills", not only "cheesy builds" 🤣
