I met them in New Orleans around '93. They came into a Po-Boy place I was working at. I was 19. They looked like the coolest people on earth. I was working the cash register and I had to ask who they were. They said they were playing that night and they would put me on the list. I had no idea what that meant. They left and came back and handed me a t-shirt and said "don't forget to come tonight". I didn't' and I never ever will forget that moment.

This is my fault in High school for not delving deeper into music that wasn’t on alternative radio .. I totally missed the Muffs but so glad I just discovered them now.

Stupenda! Continua a mancarmi da morire. I Muffs erano tutto quello che si racchiude nella youth energy, so powerful.... Che nostalgia....

I remember hearing this track as a little kid and loving it. I didn't know what it was called or who sang it (I was pretty much only familiar with more mainstream grunge and alternative bands since I was only 9 or 10 years old).

Anyone know any details of where and when The Muffs played in the UK? It's not easy to find this info anywhere online.

Ugh, already loved kim, now even more after seeing her respect for nardwuar, especially since other bands of the time like sonic youth were nasty to him. Kim was a class act! ❤

Kim was underrated. She could compose a song, play guitar/bass, sing melodically, scream a wild scream, and perform on stage. Punkrock chick of the 90s!

That was strange... but seriously, Rest in Peace Kim and Rest in Peace Paula.
One great song! The melody is delicious. Love Kims lead vocals. The Muffs are, or now were, one of the best bands

In the Muffs, Melanie was always more open and friendly, Ronnie and Criss too. But Kim was a little more guarded, in-person. We eventually became friends and then were together for a while. She is truly a sweetheart with a tough exterior, like Joanie Jett. Kim was a monster writer, and a fantastic friend. And sexy AF when she wanted to turn it on. RIP Kimba... we miss ya.

Awesome sauce from l.a california. No offense this is girl band just like the fibbers distillers and that makes them more than awesome sauce. That makes them legendary.
