Though rumour and make-believe specs are only available, and...IF THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE, this monstrous video/still machine tool would be the talk of the town for a long time after its release. As a D500 owner, I been crossing and twisting my fingers just to have one, but Nikon was always LATE at the party, or I say they just preparing for the NEXT BIG THING...though late and sifting what's remaining on their avid users who doesn't jumped ship. C'mon Nikon....hear us! The BEST ever APSC DSLR camera D500 has been long overdue!

Been hearing this for Donkeys year's.... Nikon if really serious about retaining it's share of APSc Wildlife & Sport's photography segment then they should NOT DELAY anymore on their release of the much hyped & anticipated Nikon Z90 pro level APSc 33MP crop sensor body.... Now that the Paris Olympics is happening, it would be the best opportunity to capture their market share lost to compitition like Sony,Canon,Fuji, Olympus, Panasonic....

Just when you thought Z6III was the it camera and shinning light, this will come for sure before the olympics as 45 mp just is too much. This will be 24mp and much better low light and pixel pitch will be twice as big better for faster action freezing using much lower ISO and faster shutter can be utilised for cleaner razor sharp images and have the much better EVF like on Z6III is reported to have and double duty as the better video camera than Z6III Z8 and Z9. Can you believe the very expensive Z8 and Z9 don't even have the best Nikon EVF now, the cheaper Z6 III has it , very strange moves from Nikon. They may even give you a better folding flipping screen like Sony have instead of the annoying one found on Z8-9 .But we know historically Nikon can do really stupid pricing with specialty cameras , remember the D3X how it's was overpriced totally over the top and not worth it was and still is a total rip off paying for just an extra 12MP the time of the great D3 12 MP DSLR.

Good old R6 M2 wins over the Z6 M3 in 3 aspects : 1. Well established and stronger auto focus system and subject tracking 2. Much wider range of lenses 3. Captures RAW images in pre capture mode… better for fast paced action

I own both and I agree with all of what you said about the a7cii being better than the Nikon ZF. However I like the color rendition on the ZF. Re lenses my Megadap ZT2 Pro will soon be arriving. Nikon ZF will now have adopted E lenses including those 3rd party lenses.

Sony needs to allow custom white balance in custom profiles in A7s III like they do with FX3. Firmware update

The Lumix GH line is an excellent, reliable camera for documentary and feature films. Due to the smaller size of the lenses, they are excellent for traveling. I shoot GH6 and Voigtlander f0.95 lenses with focal lengths of 60mm and 17.5mm. I'm not interested in phase autofocus, so I don't see much point in switching to gh7. I also recommend the gh6 for people with a limited budget, although the price of the gh7 is less than full-frame cameras. I recommend investing in expensive lenses, because it is the lenses that draw the picture. The camera captures the image that the lens has formed. Perhaps ND filters will be added to gh7m2 and it will be fine. Then it will make sense to buy, and make gh6 a second camera.

The Nikon Z50MKII will replace the DSLR 75XX series. Whereas the Z90 will replace the DSLR D500. It's expected the Z50MKII will continue to have the 20MP APSc sensor and the Z90 will have 33MP APSc Partially Stacked sensor... within the Z6III body.... Hopefully Nikon loyalist will get to see Z90 in time for the Paris Olympics mid July '24....

I have a Leica M10 and actually don't see the point of this as these two cameras are just at opposite ends of the spectrum.

They better hurry up as now we are post COVID it's time to upgrade and was shocked at their lack of choice/competition compared to others. Might be time to switch. Stop hiding and start disclosing I say.

I went overboard and bought the a7RV when it was released, leaving a big hole in my budget. My 70 year-old failing eyesight and shaky hands are extremely happy with Sony' autofocus. I don't feel this camera will cease to be more than enough for me any time soon. The only thing, really, that I dislike about the A7RV is that this camera is making me a lazy photographer. I find the photos out of Camera shot in AUTO mode are pretty darn good. LOL Anyhoo, it is always a good to skip one generation when buying a new model.
