Nice painting... how long is the drying process? What the most efficient way to dry it up?

Thank you! It took this one about 48 hours to dry thoroughly. However, I waited a full week before applying additional paint to bring back some of the dimension I lost in the drying process. If you have a temperature controlled space combined with a picnic food net to keep dust and bugs from finding their final resting place, it can take anywhere from 24-72 hours. I don't recommend trying to dry it faster as it will likely result in cracks to the paint. I believe you need to wait up to 2 weeks for it to fully cure where you can then apply a varnish. I love all your the colors you picked out. Have you ever done one w/ shades of brown, white , gold, bronze? Paint is so expensive I’m sure one picks their favorites. Thank you for sharing w/ us.

@@nancywarner5782 Thank you Nancy! Yes I do tend to play with my favorites, but I mostly post videos of commission pieces. So my play time is often using leftovers from those. I have used browns and all sorts of metallics - most often gold and copper. I have one I did recently but it didn't turn out as hoped so I am undecided if I'll post the video :)

Toward the end of the swipe I used a spatula dipped in Australian Floetrol and Amsterdam Oxide Black 4:1 ratio. I'm sure you'd get great results using coconut hair serum or silicone mixed with black and applied the same way.
