There are a bunch of animals with eyes that reflect light like this. Around where I live it's almost always deer, as you said.

Update: coyote eyes and raccoon eyes and fox eyes look different than these so these were probably deer 🦌🥰

Oxalic acid diluted in warm water removes rust and no agitation required. Safe for paint and decals. Another video showed it being used to clean a well water filter that had a high iron content. Able to reuse the filter for months.

I'm not entirely sure what they were that night but since then we've seen a lot of eyes in the woods near here with resemblance similar to those that turned out to be friendly deer--y'all please stay tuned though because we might someday get something actually mysterious or interesting or at least amusing! The forest is home to lots of life! "What did your fellow human find in the forest?" is a question I suspect that humanity has been discussing for many years...
