Lots of money changing hands and going into pockets of people like yourselves,who don’t walk around your own city and see you’ve made no change it’s dirtier,more damage,by passing the buck to volunteer workers to blame, while you pocket more money talk and talk ,get more money and less done,I volunteer to do your jobs and show you leadership and example,you got it and did nothing.Hamilton has always had criminals in its leadership positions. Shame on you all get off your money stuffed asses and get my city clean,like you said you would

Thank you to the veterans for giving me the life and freedom I could never have without them sacrificing their lives. I know they must seem forgotten by a lot of today's youth and the crazy societal shifts in the world these days, but I remember you. I appreciate you, and I have a great sympathy and respect for all veterans and until the day I die I will remember what you all have done for me, for this country and for the world. You are all greatly appreciated, to say the absolute least. Love you, and miss you Gramp.

Hello from Hamilton ont. I'd just like to say "thank you"!, to all the people working in our pharmacy's, grocery stores, transit, takeout food and "Tim Hortons" all the establishments that are continuing to keep open for us, the public, to be able to get essential needs. If I need to go to any of these establishments I'm making sure to thank "all" of these people that are showing up to these jobs to help Hamilton residents to be able to get things we need. I really hope that we are all thanking these people that are risking themselves for all of us. I so hope and pray that everyone is taking necessary precautions and staying healthy. Thank you for these updates from our town hall.

18 minutes into this I still have heard nothing as to where exactly I can go to get tested. Nobody cares about city employees who go to the states for holidays.poor woman. What is the terrestrial address to get tested for Covid 19.

There are two locations in Hamilton that you can get tested, as per their website. They recommend that you do the self-assessment online first. Here is the information I have obtained from their website: Locations and hours West End Clinic 690 Main Street West, Hamilton Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 5 to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm East End Clinic 2757 King Street East, Hamilton Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 4 to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm

comments by Merulla about the new Morelli pool and JTP reno (Barely a reno-boiler still not working) cannot accommodate parking for both facilities and the facilities have limited use. Cannot believe that people actually believe that those pools are event close to addressing multi-sport facility needs???? Does anyone on council actually visit these sites or try an park at them??
@Swim4HAC6 жыл бұрын
A larger usage study needs to be examined and coordinated with successful models of multi-sport facilities to determine what multi-sports work together operationally, logistically and economically and define where the tax base and users are located to support this. Most growth in Hamilton is South and then East and we should be considering that when adding services and facilities that will have impact on traffic flow and other long-term factors. If you are going to claim a location that suits holding large national/international competitions then you need to consider transportation, accommodation and local business (existing ones and growing new ones - you cannot blow out residential areas to support business growth because you picked the wrong available land to locate a large complex with significant parking requirements). A south end location that is nearer to Mount Hope airport, Hwy 6 bypass, access to LINC/Red Hill should be first priorities to choosing a location - how will people get there. We have significant issues moving traffic through downtown and with the supposed LRT that will increase and force traffic into neighbourhoods - we don't want to promote any more of that. I think TWO multi-sport facilities - one slightly larger (mountain/south) and one slightly smaller (lower/city) should be built to address significant need for different types of community spaces based on the existing residents and the likelihood of significant growth in those areas. It is foolish to invest millions in an oversized multi-sport area that cannot support parking locally already and then find that those facilities are underutilized and non-sustaining because the incorrect location was chosen for a facility of that size. More work needs to be done researching similar projects in different cities to make sure that all taxpayers needs are being met in a sustainable and fiscally responsible way.

If I understand correctly, the proposed site is North of Tim Horton's field? If areas of growth and development indicated mountain tax base and usage (above escarpment), why a below mountain/city location? Why is this facility being planned for east end city when growth is elsewhere?

How are we going to facilitate parking in this area and for this size of a complex in an area of town which is already experiencing issues with parking?
