Great another video only showing how to put the speaker in the wall/ceiling. NOT how to do a complete install. Lets see what’s missing: 1. How the wires are run 2. How the wires are connected Does an installer need to worry about losing business because they show these things? Absolutely not. Why? Because people who are not technically inclined, don’t have the tools, or don’t want to DIY it will call an installer. Those people make up a greater percentage than the DIYer. And the people that do not currently have the funds to have the speakers or to hire an installer are just watching for the entertainment anyway

nice clean install, just wondering if you advised the client beforehand that a darker colour for the room would be preferable, the amount of light reflection at 10:41 on the walls and ceiling would be pretty distracting for watching a movie imo.

Well, I was so impressed with his work in the video that I had him come to my home to do a fantastic speaker install in the kitchen and also in my office (6 speaker setup). His work was incredibly professional, and he is willing to explain what he is doing while performing the installation. I will be scheduling for Russell to come back to install more speakers and a motorized 85in tv wall mount that will lower. Here we go, let's cut a hole in the ceiling, perfect. Now we're ready to install the speaker with the wire that's magically just right there ready to pull through. WTF! This is not helpful!

Yeah, I was thinking it was a 2 story house @ 1st because I didn’t see any insulation but then they never showed how wire was ran or fished so I’m guessing it’s a 1 story house 🤔🤷♂️…. Either way yeah important part was left out or the hard part depending on the application

How much more trouble/cost if the living room doesn't have attic access?

The short answer is "a lot" for both trouble and cost. Depending on the situation, if there is a room/closet above your living room, you could punch down into the subfloor and run your wires that way and just keep your components in an upstairs closet. The speakers will be in the ceiling but I suppose better than nothing. If you want speakers in the wall you are likely looking at lots of drywall repair to get the wires run to where you want them.

WHAT YOU DO IS PRETTY MUCH WASTE MY TIME EVERYTHING YOU SHOW IS THE SAME BS IS OTHER VIDEOS WHAT I NEED TO SEE IS HOW YOU RUN THE SPEAKER WIRES THRU THE STUBS AND THRU THE CEILING ANY IDIOT CAN DO WHAT YOU JUST DID AND THERE'S BETTER TOOLS THE JUST A SAW AND ALSO MAKE A SMALL HOLE IN THE CENTER OF THE SPEAKER PLATE ON THE CEILING DRYWALL THEN PUT IN A WIRE TO FEEL IF IS SOMETHING THERE BEFORE YOU MAKE THAT HOLE, WHAT IF IS A VENT OR PIPES CAN'T FIT THAT SPEAKER AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE A NEW DIMENTIONS SINCE ALL SPEAKERS HAVE TO BE ON THE SAME DISTANCE SO ALL YOUR LASER SHOW IS FOR N O T H I N G ......

There is an AV closet on the other side of the house that has the amp powering the speakers. Customer had an extra zone available on the Denon X4700H

@@YourFavoriteCountryCuzin803 some homes have a dedicated closet that is designed during the build and others just re-purpose a coat closet or linen closet to achieve the same goal. In this case it was a coat closet.
