You've got humor and expressed respect for your womenfolk. Great review. I'm still looking at the options, and this helped a lot. Consider doing a review of these in terms of their resistance mode. That is what I found to be missing here.

Does the xs1 really max out at 250 lbs? That would be really limiting for deadlifts or bench press.

Good stuff, so what? $5k + $40/month for the minimum package? Speediance is 2.5K with no monthly but you will probably max out the leg exercises in a year. I don't know how much Tonal costs or the monthly.

Enjoyed the review. I've never been a subscription kind of person. I see that you are required to have the subscription for 1 year minimum after purchase. Okay, got it. If the subscription is cancelled after that year, is the machine still usable? Do I still have access to the basics? Can I change the weight?

Is this the version that cost $42,500 and can you do sit-ups on this machine?

I modified the foot plate alot. The plate as it was chewed up my bands, my light gray, most used band looked as if a dog chewed right thru it. Ended up having to buy another of those. I really like the system but that footplate needs improvement. Even the gen 3 plate doesn't look good enough, it's still got that super sharp bend angle. My plate now tho is perfect, I've had it modded for a year and a half and the bands are all as good as I remember.

I had my oxefit for almost 2years now and every one in awhile I get the "error detected" on the screen. Have you experienced that? Usually when I call Oxefit they would fly someone out to fix the issue. Well this past week I've been trying to get Oxefit to fix the same issue and they said my warranty ran. This is crazy because it's the same issue I keep calling them about and now they don't want to fix it without me paying. I'm not sure what causes the "error detected" on the screen but its definitely not something that I caused.

I have had my Xs1 for just over a year and I have had numerous issues with the machine. The first being an extremely delayed shipping process. Then within a month of using it, a motor malfunctioned and had to be replaced. After that there have been multiple software issues that cause the machine to be inoperable. Most recently, the machine encountered an error that caused the deck of the unit to be non-functional. When I co tasted the support they advised it was out of warranty and said they'd get me a quote. They didn't even attempt to trouble shoot with me. In the short time I have been an Oxefit customer, I have noticed a sharp decline in their customer support. When the Xs1 works, it is a great product. However, it has caused countless headaches. Especially for the price I would steer clear of this product.

Does it track progress and suggest weight adjustments and reps?

If it had a pullup bar/dip station it'd be flawless...

My need is making sure I can track my proper form and prevent injuries and also get a variety of workouts.

Does this machine count half reps if you stop doing full reps within a set?

The funny thing about these machines is you can do the same USING BANDS LIKE BODYLASTICS and a door!! Yep I lost 150 lb to have a Beachbody using bands!! You could do various variations for your chest and legs with push-ups using the bands. If you want more resistance you could get a bar and extensions for the bands and a bench, into bench press and squats!! use the anywhere anchor to simulate bench press UP TO 500 LB!! You could also find ways to anchor these bands with all the attachments to a wall, to the floor the amount of weight you can use is endless!! There is ways to do anything with these bands FOR UNDER $200 AND YOU GET ALMOST 550 LB!! They are a lifetime warranty You only get to pay five bucks if one starts to wear.. had mine 12 years never had one break!! And you can take the bands in a bag anywhere and you have a door you're all set!! Not to mention elastic bands actually simulate how your muscle flexes more than anything else even more than these machines!! WHICH MAKES IT MUCH BETTER FOR YOUR JOINTS AND BODY! Simply amazing!!
