What opens these motors up the most? I have a 97 M3. I'm assuming the heads and cams go a long way. Awesome build and numbers!

intake opens up the best, then cams. After that you need bunch of supporting mods, big stroke crank is a problem when revving highs, need better damper and strenghtend oil pump shaft, additional chain tensinioner. valvetrain also needs upgrading and after that you need to port head. Doesnt cost much to get 260-270hp but after that it starts to add up quickly

This is probably as far as an s52 has ever been pushed being NA. What fuel was this running?

This was e85 which was likely hurting power at 10.7:1. His head and intake change the trajectory of this platform, at least 5 serious builds going together now…

@@zemaestro interesting stuff. I was running full e85 on a stock M50 with my RHD itb kit, I don't think I gained much of anything without cams and a worn valve train! Was interesting to do and a good learning experience to go towards this new build I have. I'm trying to hand port another head and cast RHD runners to be similar to what you guys are doing. This is for a booster application so we'll see how this goes I guess.

Great Time! I surprised that those wheels from 325i fit, cause M3's rotors/breaks are bigger, I had those wheels and it didn't fit on my M3 E36 1999 Coupe. How much you R selling for this boosted ///M3 If you still have it & How much HP it putting out?! Thanx!

it runs 10:68 in 1/4 mile so what a surprise?! lol why even argue on the internet, pick what you like and be happy! I would still take an M6... better car overall and 500Hp is enough for my every day driving. It just happens that I use to own modded E46 M3 which was very nice for the track, but as I started to travel a lot, I immediately bought an M5 which I drive for 3+ years now everyday and nothing was broken yet!

Yeah, but at 13 PSI, you engine is not going to last long at all, in the end, the M6 is going to be at home and the m3 modded is going to be at the scrapyard.

i knew that was a V10 when i heard it all v10's sound like that i don't know why V6's are quiet inline 4's make no noise at all V8's sound like fucking monsters V12's are so big ass cry babys V16's are just annoying as fuck if you don't have the right exhaust.

yeah the m6 is a fast car fersure.. Just got the HPF--- horsepower freaks stage 3 put on my e36.. Let's just say the M6 i raced definately got smoked... its a big ego booster beating a fuckin 10 cylinder BMW..
