Had you met Karen? I don't know if Tucker ever publicly discussed his involvement with this song... would absolutely love to hear his thoughts and insight... It's one of the most beautiful songs I've heard, and very much my personal favorite

I wasn’t able to play this song for Richard before his passing a month ago at age 82. I didn’t meet Richard’s first wife Karen Dalton before her tragically early death. I mostly know Karen from her music and the documentary’s about her life.
