Thank you for bringing beautiful memories of my "childhood" and my first car after i got my license. vw golf 2 1.6 75hp from 91'. That engine sound, pure gasoline engine with carburator. We called him white swan in my family. He is long gone now but it will forever be in my heart. ❤

Nice. 😄 Glad to hear that we arent the only ones. Right now i have golf mk7 2.0 GTD Rline from 2018 with 220hp stage 1+. Similar blue paint like your golf in this video. Its fun but golf mk2 is something special and always will be ultimate classic from VW.

😂😂😂,kako sam znao....ali skidanje kleme sa akumulatora mi je najače...,u zdravlje da se ti i gole vozite 😂😂😂,nekada su se ti motori 1,6 vozili na lož ulje,malo je masnije bilo od D2,i pumpa je lepše,mirnije radila....ma bio je to odličan motor ne uništiv...u golfa 😊

All 4 of my glowplugs died while it was 10 celsius outside and it would crank for 40 seconds before turning on, this IDI engines do not like having no glowplugs.

Yes it was wet. Now I clean the ECU box drain two times a year so it doesn't happen again. I made a video about were it is.

You don't have proper winter diesel inside your fuel tank. You can hear the fuel pump inside the tank struggling to get the frozen fuel pumped. Also you act like an idiot revving your ice cold engine to 3000 rpm straight away. Dude if you don't know how to handle a Diesel engine, give back your driver's licence an use your feet to change location. No words.

Hey ! I have a 82' Jetta mk1 1.6D and got a problem with that (seems like it) same injection pump which IS leaking diesel... What are thé pieces that are attached to it ? Whats joint ', tubes... ? Thanks u in advance ! And thanks for the vid ! It helped confirm the diagnostic !
