If you have dio scooter there is mainly two things one is petrol tap and another is float needle . And if carburettor is not clean it will also cause overflow,If petrol is leaking from middle of carburettor check carburettor bowl rubber packing and the overflow is coming after starting better to check air filter and manifold side rare case not properly sealed also cause overflow to confirm all this you have to check properly 😊

My fz16 was missing on lower RPMs, running ok on higher RPMs. Gave only 22kmpl mileage. My mechanic found M-Seal somewhere in carburettor (must be pasted by previous mechanic) and removed it, later it ran smoothly for few kms but now it's missing terribly on certain lower RPMs like if it has gulped higher amount of air and cannot remove it

According to my assumption tell your mechanic to check carburettor by changing to good one and if it the reason so it's better to change to new one it will give you a smooth run ,better mileage,better starting and overall performance 😊

I hope your accelator cable and carburetor piston in stuck condition and carburetor top cap is removable. If it that the case remove carburetor from scooter and apply some wd -40 if rust in it and appy some oil to the portion and try to pull. If this doesn't help try to push from inside of carburetor and do it carefully 😊
