Just finish listening to the audio book of” The impossible planet”… it’s kind of sad.. that old lady just wanted to go back to her roots… where she was born and most probably wanted a peaceful death … but unfortunately her dream shattered… felt sad at the end😢Thanks for the recommendation Asa😊

Yeah, it is relatable. I've seen it quite a few times. Some parts of this movie actually seem relatively mild compared to reality.

Hey. Im going to check out your book now. I've subscribed because I just started getting into PKD and have read about 5 of his books. I have fairly recently got into him because I was taken aback by the fact that a lot of his themes are somewhat similar to the novel ive been working on. I've only got the first chapter draft done along with a lot of key points in the premises that I'm struggling to find a smooth way to fit all this into a palpable story. I definitely resonate with the thing you said about intellectual writing vs the creative and how that poses a struggle in the sense of having to be a performer rather than a composer. The same dilemma I've had to face in musical projects . In my book there are a lot of elements of philosophy, dystopia pseudoscience, psychic warfare and psychotropic mindscapes (all in a very combinatorial way) that I've been kind of stuck waiting for the right painful yet inspiring moments to continue on the second chapter in a way that in my mind has become more cohesive and respective for it to progress. All of this to the point of where I'm future tripping hardcore and getting ahead of myself with actually writing the soundtracks for things that haven't even been adapted into film yet.(elsewise would just be soundtracks that pertain to the book because it doesn't necessarily have to be adapted in another way nor should)

With Exhibit Piece we see a great deal of themes that Phil dove into more in The Exit Door Leads In, Paycheck, Chains of Air, Web of Aether, and to an extent - UBIK

I have read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, The Man in the High Castle, Flow My Tears The Policeman Said, and a ton of short stories by PKD. I love all of the Martian stories that he writes. I'll add The Martian Time Slip to my list. Thanks for the book review video. :D Have you read The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy books ???

Surprisingly, I haven't read any of the Hitchhiker books. I'll definitely check them out! Thanks for the suggestion!

@@asavarrette9757 And it gets under the skin. You end up subversively replacing Ubik with every product they slogan/jingle at you! PKD really had some true but odd insights into the human mind!
