There are a lot of inaccuracies and exclusions in this video. High frequency, rotary vibrators are a poor example of what is possible using vibration as a flow aid. Well placed/operated impact vibrators are more effective and consume less air than their rotary counterparts and air sweeps. There’s a reason why hammers, which generate an impact vibration, are the most widely used flow aid.

Often air fluidizers are useful on more vertical surfaces. I feel like this setup is a bit of an unfair comparison since it is on a flat surface which isn't usually the setup.

ok gracias por la demostracion, nos dedicamos al diseño de silos de cemento para mineria , pero hay varios tipos de diseño para evitar atascamientos y que material se estanque y despues genere problemas, como es el caso del cemento q tiene que estar fresco. A partir de esto sus istema podria usar un resorte para regresar la valvula de aire a modo cerrado, y poner un control que derive aire a cada boquilla mediante un sistema central de control, asi se evitaria mas gastos y poner una alta presion, ¿ ustedes podrian fabricarnos un sistema asi ? debido a que el entorno de funcionamiento de una mina es un poco agresivo, gracias.

Hi Fernando, Thank you for you inquiry. We have successfully applied the Airsweep system to many different types of fertilizers over the years, including Urea and Urea prill. Typically, the best way to assist you would be for you to return to us a dimensional drawing of the vessel that is experiencing flow issues. A hand sketch is acceptable, as long as the diameter, cone height (or angle), and discharge size is noted. In addition, please specify if carbon or stainless steel is preferred for the Airsweep construction. Lastly, be sure to define your electrical requirements (AC 120 or 220 / DC, 12 or 24 volt). If the area is NEMA rated for the electrical areas please define as well. After receiving answers to the above questions someone from our sales team will prepare a proposal specific to your application. Your information can be sent to [email protected]. In order to properly address the proposal, be sure to include the physical address of your company. Do not hesitate to call us with any questions or comments. We look forward to working with you!
