what kind of idiot wrote this script? there are elements of truth but grossly oversimplified and overlooks most elements of synthetic rubber vulcanization that plays larger role today than just latex and sulfer.

Nice video. Not exactly sure how I got here being I already know, for my particular installation I can't have 'heads sticking up above the surface', have countersunk holes, and was looking for countersunk 'bolts'... the word Bolts bringing up a question. Wasn't it those I was looking at when you said 'screws'? All my life I have Always thought, because I was Taught, bolts and screws were different. And, that's what I teach--'Bolts are different than screws. They are a different thread type, can be used with nuts, and, if you remember nothing else, are not pointy on the end.' 😄 So now I'm hoping to get some replies. And not some internet nonsense. Personal experience. Because one wants to know if, all their lives, they've been living in a fantasy world. 😄😄 Nice vid. 👍

Thanks, Craig! You're absolutely correct. Pointed tips are the standard for most screws. Countersunk screws are one of the few blunt ended screws out there, another common blunt ended screw type are machine screws. Thanks for watching our video and we're always happy to talk fasteners!
