Long as you know what your doing and keep up with your bow.. you shouldn't be scared. Yes things happen, but things also happen with traditional and recurve bows if not properly operated or cared for

I used a golden eagle 🦅 bow 🏹 when I first started bow 🏹 hunting last time i shot it the top limb cracked and split after that every few seasons a new bow 🏹

While it's still frowned upon, dry firing a gun is not that serious. _You cannot dry fire a bow._ The arrow is literally an integral part of the whole process and without it, you're just breaking your bow.

As someone who had shot at an indoor archery club for over a decade, I have actually seen it all 😂 It's not really scary, but I have seen people send arrows through their own arm before. Usually due to shooting under spined arrows.

Through ten years of selling bows and archery tackle in my own shop, I managed to avoid dry-fire disasters. I can't honestly say that I miss the experiences, even though I met some wonderful people and had interesting conversations! The biggest compromise was trying to get away to go hunting myself, instead of spending long hours setting up bows and building arrows on the threshold of season-opening days!
