I'm sorry buddy but I have a off topic question for you if you wouldn't mind please. I was wondering what rest you decided to go with on your new bow build? See I've been shooting Hanskea Trinity rests on my last three bow builds and for my new bow this year I went with the integrated Hanskea Epsilon rest for my Mach 35 and to be honest I'm bored of the Hanskea rests . Now there's absolutely no issues I'm having with them they work excellent and this is the part that makes most think I'm nuts but I'm tired of looking at it. I want to try something different. I get this little voice in my head that always makes me think there's something better out there and I'm selling myself short sticking with the same products all the time and I'm a big believer in that verity is the spice of life and with that I'm looking for an alternative to curb the boredom 😁. So if you please sir what rest did you decide to hang on that beautiful new bow your slinging this season? And thank you in advance.

I usually gut in the field unless I'm hunting a permission spot and they don't want me too. I use a Kickapoo Creek knife this year. Super sharp and hand made in my home state of Illinois

There are others in archery / bowhunting that make the shot more complicated than it should be. I’m more of a Keep it Simple, stupid. Type of release doesn’t matter. Sight picture, sight alignment, slow controlled breathing, focus on target while squeezing the trigger. If you stay focused on the target the shot will surprise you. Great video!

You kind of see that the bow is got a little bit of twitch to it when the shot breaks if you play with your stabilizer you should probably get that thing to jump straight forward when the shot breaks you know I know it's a new boat for you so obviously it's going to take a little time
@OutdoorswithOvertime7 күн бұрын
I believe you commented a bunch of stuff like this before... thanks but you're putting to much into a "hobby" for me. It's a passion not a career. Always evolving and enjoying the process, but no need to over think it. Keep it simple and keep it fun
@Gibsonlife5739 күн бұрын
I would recommend keep working on your shot brother it's hard with them but even though sometimes we think we're executing the best shot you know we trick ourself to punch the trigger or let's say to apply more tension turn the button when it's not breaking
@Gibsonlife5739 күн бұрын
Play some another thing if you said that rest at 1316 man being your right-handed shooter a lot of the times I find that you need to move the cams to the right I never move my rest even when PSE told me with the ebl 34 they told me to set the rest at 7/8 I kept it at 1316 and move one shim the thinnest one on to the left pushing the cam to the right and I got a perfect Bullet Hole
@Gibsonlife5739 күн бұрын
Hey buddy another thing that I have learned say you need to turn your peep just very little bit right always do it from the bottom and let's say you need to turn it halfway halfway do it from the top you get more movement from the top than you do the bottom
@Gibsonlife5739 күн бұрын
Really cool to see you representing Butch Baker's product you're going to love this boat if there's one thing I could tell you wherever you're drawing things up put your draw stop a half inch before that like me I'm 28 inches so I put the draw stop at 28 and a half which gives me about 1617 lbs open weight and straight back draw no dump in through no Valley nothing like that which they are they don't really have a huge dump find I usually set my stops early or I get custom stops or you can also get rubber grommets like little oh hell you go to the hardware store and buy them this and you slide that little rubber grommet over the stops that BowTech have on them
