nothing proves it was created by the greeks. this cmechanism was found in a ship, not far from Egypt if you look on a map. What was the mechanism doing in a ship? bullshit! This is an AFRICAN MADE INVENTION BY ANCIEN BLACK EGYPTIANS AND WE KNOW THE GREEKS STUDIED IN EGYPT WHERE THEY LEARNED EVERYTHING.

΅Wonderful synopsis of a very complex philosophical, political and scientific history. I recommend my book on why the Greeks created such a fabulous and advanced science mechanical universe: The Antikythera Mechanism: The Story Behind the Genius of the Greek computer and its Demise (Universal Publishers, 2021)

What was the knowledge relationship between Greece and Egypt?Did the Greeks learn mathematics and philosophy in ancient Egypt? Can anyone explain? If there is a relationship, this could also lead us to the precision in the construction of the pyramids.

pyramids are not hard to construct they just use water to get perfect flat line and weight on a string to get perfect vertical line. And move stones by flooding sections

Interesting how this mechanism predicts cosmological movements that haven't changed to this day. Yet, we are told we travel 584 million miles a year through the universe without any parallax in the stars.

The ancient Olympic Games were always held in Olympia. There is no way the mechanism predicted at which city the Olympic Games would take place… Who writes these stuff?

In order to invent such a machine, you must first master knowledge. That is, astronomy. The knowledge of time made us make clock wheels. The knowledge of astronomy is antiktera. Today, we can control time on our arms. To know is to comprehend. To comprehend is to be able to control. With antiktera, celestial movements were reduced to a machine wheel. This is completely mastering knowledge. If you know a tree, you can draw it completely on a paper and reduce it.

Has a functioning replica of this been made yet? If it has so much corrosion, chances are some subtle features can no longer be seen, understood and duplicated. But it would be nice to give it a try.

All the hype about this thing is as fake as the bible and there claims of most accurate predictions are all lies ..why turn it into some fantasy object its just a basic tool ..the fascination with finding ancient tech is rediculas humans were just as smart back then with less groupe knolage that we have built up sence then but they didnt know anything more then us sorry people romanticism of the past is pure ignorance

This CAN'T be the world's 1st computer. It's too advanced, even for it's own timing. That's like saying the iPhone is the world's 1st phone, when clearly it would be too advanced. There's got to be much simpler and scaled back versions of this device. Prototypes and technology that this device was based on. I want to see the "blackberry" version of this "phone". And more.

Look at the statues they did have art that was their fantasies I like the fantasies we have today like the movies that children see today with science fiction physical they made beautiful statues now this is the thing why was that my world is that you're so beautiful even today because human beings really don't look like that

Picture at that time they had scrolls designs and their own encyclopedia if you want to call it so what they did is they built that according to that it went to words they want to order a mechanical in other words this was their technology.. this was like the cell phones of today and that was it it was nothing else after that

Ese mecanismo no pudo haber sido hecho por griegos, romanos, egipcios , sumerios, hititas ... Eso fue hecho por alguien que conocia el CERO, y poseia las herramientas necesarias para hacerlo ...
