Someone recommended me the echo PB8010 but I’m not sure that I can handle the weight of it so what would you recommend as the next best backpack blower? They told me to go get a walk behind if I couldn’t handle the weight but walk behinds are not self-propelled and are way more expensive than I can afford right now. The ones that are self-propelled are like double the price of a non-self-propelled one.

@lostintheclouds8719 Hi. If it's a weight thing the stihl br700 is excellent 👌 We love them for a lighter blower

Ty I’ll google it. My neighbor has the craftsman which is about 25 pounds and he helped get it on me. It wasn’t bad but I’m not sure if I could take it for an hour or 2+. I’m hearing how people are tearing their rotator cuff putting these bp blowers on, so I have to assume that wouldn’t happen if you’re putting on a lighter weight pack, right?

I have the 48c deck, in northeast, in dry grass, with my 20 something year old Gt-235, it cuts as good or better than my buddies new scagg with efi, morning dew or wet, it will power through, but deck underneath is nightmare, when I bought the machine, it had the big three engine choices, even the dealer said the briggs was in third , then kohler, then Kawasaki, well after 20 something years of homeowner use, tractor has never been back to dealer for anything and engine is fantastic-vtwin 18, a friend got the comparable new version, x590, and everything seems to have gotten cheaper, the underside of the deck is not even fully painted up to spindles, my 48c had like five full coats of yellow, what happened to that great company?

I got the 800C for home use this past year and absolutely hated the side pull the first few times. I watched a video on how to properly pull it and it starts up within 2 pulls every time now. Definitely a solid blower and i like that it folds up pretty small for how big the powerful blowers are. If you ever get sick of the side pull you can order a new pull for the 800X and install it on the C. Just a tip for anybody looking to buy one and its definitely worth the money if you have a decent sized property with a ton of trees

I thought it was just me with why is this guy riding around talking about his no start walker when all he had to do to was show us that the wire came off the starter “very common” on these machines. Now that he knows what the problem was he should remove that wire and slightly close up the opening where the spade connector goes because it will keep happening every year or so depending upon how many lawns he cuts. This should have been about a one minute video that would also show him crimping the connection, we didn’t need to ride along, it added nothing but filler time to the video

I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. kzbin.infoUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

I have a Walker and I started it two times to attach a Walker perferator (aerator) and it started fine twice then when I got the aerator put on it wouldn't start. Drives me crazy the safety switches and wiring. I noticed on your mower the plastic fan that cools the hydro was broken off. Those are critical to the life of the hydro, and they are cheap, I think less than $10 and easy to install. Thanks
