KZbin just randomly recommended this to me & boy am I grateful for the reminder of what was truly one of my favorite evenings of theater ever. This is a show I feel very protective of & I was blown away by Theo's production of it. Wish I could relive it again & again.

Bravo! Beautifully done. Colette Todd is an absolutely spectacular performer! She does a fantastic job transforming into any role she plays. If you can see her work, you absolutely should! You will not be disappointed. Desiree is a perfect part for her! This is one not to miss!

This is a great little primer, but I obnoxiously have to point out one error. Company recouped on Broadway and then had a financially successful (and fairly long) tour--although the London production did falter as soon as the original imported Broadway cast left fairly early. But of course Follies lost *soooo* much money, they did want a need their next show to be commercially successful (and Night Music recouped fairly quickly, even though it had over 100 performances on Broadway less than Company did...)

The whole gag is that she is nervous and shy and th sound bursts from her. Not that she sashays around the stage like she’s in on the joke

I saw this production this past weekend and loved it! The beautiful music, sung by these phenomenal singers, was a wonderful combination.
