Hope to contact your group when I get back to Bangladesh in the near future. Very unusual situation where the roads are not that good in the village approximately ten kilometers from Brahmanbaria, and two kilometers from the Dhaka Sylhet road on Akhaura Chandura road. So difficult to bring heavy materials. But I am hoping to incorporate sufficient structural rods for load bearing on Columns and beams to add extensive amount of bamboo and natural local materials heavily protected from weathering with available paints. All this is to cover existing buildings from the summer heat gain and heat and to make the home tolerable for summer. Air conditioning or lack of air conditioning is the issue. Mainly want to enhance the passive cooling or reduce the heat by shading and increase air flow. There are ponds and many trees. May even consider adding removable or wind tolerant sails “পাল “or false roofs for shading May consider adding plenty of solar panels for energy and shading. Home has been updated periodically over the last fifty years. We have modern toilets air conditioning and solar systems in place. Thai glass windows have been added. Area is above flood levels. We may use white paint or color for heat reflector as you know helps some. Aesthetics or Looks are not as important as the function of the cooling aspects if possible. May not destroy any of the existing trees or vegetations if possible. Minimum changes to the vegetations. May add a small swimming pool if possible . Comfort from oppressive heat is the issue. Perimeter Security may be added features. Also open to ideas about using earthen walls which are common features about three miles from this village. Older earthen homes in this village have gradually mostly been replaced by other stuff. Dimensions of this one story home is approximately thirty feet by thirty feet. Hight may be fifteen feet. If you get the idea or understand the unusual expectations and thoughts make comments. Or please find or recommend some group who may be interested. I am retired Bangladeshi. Hii sr my question to you is is the column hinged at bottom..? And also my question to you is if we have rigid or hinged joint at truss end then there will be large horizontal force on column which will induce large moment if bottom end not hinged

Structure is fail in side sway. Please check the side sway i.e. horizontal deflection should not be more than H/200 or 100.
