Hello. I'm a drummer as well, from New Orleans. Speaking of swing, have you heard fats Domino - be my guest? It's a hard shuffle that actually invented ska. Or reggae I'm not sure.

Sherris I am a Viet Nam Veteran and to hear you play that snare makes me so proud. Those rolls are so so clean. Marched in a senior drum and bugle corps. and when we played Patriotic music we had the crowd in the palm of our hands thank you for playing this and God Bless America

Without a doubt this is what is so nice the rudiment phase with cowbell is cool but notice how she keeps both bass drum and high hat going just like a tap dancer I talked with a trumpet player who worked with Tommy Dorsey and our buddy rich on drums he asked buddy how are doing those mind boggling drum solos buddy replied don’t just watch my hands I tap dance rhythms with my feet and as we know buddy did tap dance in those vaudeville days so much in tap dancing combines in great drumming

Meh. The bass trombone solo wasn’t very smooth and was a lot of repetition. Parts of the the band kept dragging and rushing the time. My schools jazz band could do band.
