Loving HSPU training, as hard as these failed attempts still are, I have the skill in my sights. 2025 is gonna be the year I master it.

This video is 8 months old at this point but you mentioned any other programs we may want to look into...if that still stands and if you want to: the back to basics program you did with kettlebells and calisthenics a few months ago, simple and sinister -if you have done it, any other kettlebell or calisthenics program you have done. Also, i think if you make a Playlist for your back to basics workouts/program and also playlists for any other reviforews you have done like the Convict Conditioning or Vince Dironda one it will be helpful for viewers

Calisthenics athletes often run into a dilemna of isolating the triceps, so this is a quick sequence to train them at high intensity.

This is the most honest and accurate overview of CC. I like it, I have two copies of the original and all 4 books in the series. But. The system is not a stand alone system. I think it can inspire and get you going but somewhere along the way, sound steps 5-7, you’ll end up finding answers elsewhere and moving on. The kavadlos did it better, and god bless Matt schifferle of the red delta project for the wealth of supplemental content he created to make CC work.

@pricerowland2 ай бұрын
These are very different from rings training, there is much more stability required in the lower arms and hands

At the @3:00 minute mark you mentioned doing a lot of volume with these exercises. Were you doing the full couple of hundred hindu pushups on your push day and then the few hundred hindu squats on another day or did you balance out the total volume after adding in the other supplementary exercises ? I think Matt Furey suggested up to 500 hindu squats in his book.
@pricerowland2 ай бұрын
I never quite got to 500 reps but I'd get to 50+ rep sets. In the realm of really high reps I think his goal was to develop more cardio/endurance capacity.
@saiketbiswas84442 ай бұрын
50/set is a lot of reps, I am guessing people who do 200-500 burpees do so for similar cardio capacity as you described. Looking forward to seeing how your current training evolves with weights and calisthenics.

Looks like KZbin keeps deleting my comments from everywhere so I will just rewrite this in short: 1. Really digging the sunglasses + gloves look 2. Traps and delts seem to be gaining some hypertrophy or becoming more noticeable 3. Really hope the channel grows, lots of good content here
