I lived in Clarke Street until I was 4/5 years old in these back to back houses....we then moved to the maisonettes at the bottom of St Vincent Drive/road...I have vague memories of this house and the court yards 😀 God bless my parents x

This guy says that there are no leaks? The channel tunnel documentary states there is leaks showing and the tunnel was designed to leak?
@kudjo242 жыл бұрын
So I honestly forgot this was a thing, and didn't even realize you drove on with a car that's inside a train, which is inside a tunnel, which is underneath the motherf'in channel of all things, all at a pretty fast speed sloping considerably down and up. Stellar and mind blowing ingenuity, why aren't we engineering more truly useful things like this anymore?

Man and woman were created to learn at moderate rate hence how much has been learned over the past 100 years. The technology advances at faster rate as the human race lives and does not abuse much of the technology, i.e. atomic energy not being used destroy humans in wars.

Tolkien never lived in Ladywood, he lived in Sarehole which was in Worcestershire then but is now called Hall Green in Birmingham where Sarehole Mill and the Moseley bog is. The only connection with Ladywood Tolkien had was in his book the two towers he included two tall towers in Lady Wood, the Severn Trent Water Works Tower and Perrots Folly.

ummmm, why does the trains runs at a speed of roughly 140 kph, despite the Vmax label in 4:36 shows "only" 120 kph?!? Does the loco runs faster than it is allowed to? Otherwise the class 9 loco's maximum speed 160 kph according to wikipedia. And I assume that there is a class 9 shown in the video. 🤔
@karlbassett84853 жыл бұрын
It looks like that label says "Locomotive only", so it can do 160kmh with all the carriages but only 120 when running by itself.
@slovak_eagle3 жыл бұрын
It does say "Locomotive Only", but it is followed by more text, which I presume are numbers to represent speed, but I can´t read that. However at 4:50 you can see the 2nd Vmax label for 160km/h.
