Puh, F1 Challenge 99-02 for PC is older and noticeable more realistic. Only the graphics are more angular.

The game was made for a console that came out in 2000 whereas F1 Challenge was on PC. Obviously F1 Challenge is better, but this is a good relic of it's time. Also F1 06 had much better graphics than F1 05 on the PS2

The FW18 sounds how the Toro Rosso should have been sounding in the game instead of having just a lower pitched V8 engine similar to the other cars.

Mal ne frage weißt du was du damals alles von der Fun-Night aufgenommen hast? Ich Kannte: Astronaut Dodgeball Sprechender Hase Weihnachtsmann Armor Engel und Teufel SMS-Chat mit den South Park Kanadier Kaminfeuer Flirt-Night Kanzlerduell Napoleon und irgendwas mit Wüste wo Zwei Verschleiert waren

@@vättyäkk-techno Also ich muss gestehen das ich die meisten Sachen gar nicht kenne. 🙈 Ich habe nur das SMS Spiel mit dem Hasen und dem Sahara Typ, Astronaut und so ein Spiel namens "Die Wand" gesehen. Da waren so Begriffe gesucht, die z.B. mit Über beginnen. Da gab es dann ein paar versteckte Felder und die Leute mussten erraten welche Begriffe gesucht sind, z.B. Überschlag. Ich glaube es gab verschiedene Geldbeträge zu gewinnen. Wie ich in einem anderen Kommentar geschrieben habe, ich weiß leider nicht ob ich die Aufnahmen noch habe bzw. ob diese noch funktionieren. Falls ich etwas finde, dann wäre es das SMS Spiel mit dem Hasen/Sahara Typ etc und/oder Astronaut. 😅

@@therealcubisima Ich weiß es ehrlich gesagt nicht. Ich hatte früher öfter mal die Fun Night aufgenommen, aber ob die Aufnahmen noch existieren bzw. wo diese sind weiß ich leider nicht. Falls ich etwas finde kann ich gerne versuchen es zu digitalisieren.

How is this game compared to the EA PS2 titles? IMO, the EA ones have really really bad AI, which doesn't make it worth racing for longer than 5 laps as an arcade mode. Is this game less bad in that regard? On KZbin, I can pretty much only find gameplay of the timed arcade mode of this game except for this video.

On pretty much every track the AI is very easy to beat. The only real challenge was Silverstone. Here in Imola the AI also makes countless mistakes, which can lead to crazy results. Same for Monaco, where in my full season I believe Diniz got a podium.

How did you get the T-Cam to show the driver helmet? My copy seems to only show the steering and front of the car in that position.

This camera angle is only in the original release of F1 2004, but that version sadly has a massive pit stop issue. This got fixed in the Platinum edition, however the camera angle got changed aswell.

I won every race in the Championship. For every win I unlocked Safety Car time trial on that track, so basically you need to win on a track to be able to drive the SC there.
