*Good and Evil* Why is the Ace of Spades misleading as to being evil? Why is the One Ring actually good? Why is Satan a force of good? Modern definitions of good and evil are confusing and for the most part wrong. The definitive definition of good is that of purity and order and of evil it is chaos and complexity. There is, in fact, no such thing as “pure evil” for by definition any pure thing has returned to a state of good. The Ace of Spades actually represents good because good begins as purity and at its highest point returns to being good, as seen by the one and eleven scoring of its value. Evil is only anything in between two states of purity, thus pure evil is represented by the numbers five and six because five and six are the median between one and ten at which evil thereby becomes pure again. Evil is chaos and the greater its complexity the greater the evil becomes. Only a purity that has achieved beyond that complexity is capable of defeating it. Witchcraft is mostly good because it really is just casting out evil by giving it a complex at its specific level by which the evil must strive for order. Any evil witchcraft is the cause of defeating order, thus it does the same. It provokes a higher order. Evil is, in fact, a journey of insanity by which one strives until they are again pure. By putting chaos into order and complexity into purity evil returns to good. The world has a tendency to hand out darkness as a consolation. This is opposed to the truth which is required for a higher order. There is no such alignment as Lawful Evil, or Chaotic Good, for all you D & D enthusiasts. Sorry, but those are misguided consolations. The darkness is only evil because it lends to chaos but may be, in fact, a purer good. A greater good will bring out the evil in a person, not dust that person off for illusions like how Sauron attracts trolls and hobgoblins or how the One Ring brought out the worst in Sméagol. Be warned, for there are greater goods in the world hiding under the pretense of evil such as the Devil. Without a greater good chaos would hide behind a face under a pretense of order and eventually destroy the world. Instead, they are revealed and given their true form and expressions.
