A couple of minor points. The base provides electricity to the heating element in the kettle. Also, try filtered water for better tasting tea or coffee. If you’re running well water, thus might not be an issue.

They are pretty cool. I just had mine come in the mail. I came to this video because I was looking for thoughts on one of the 2 issues I have with these. The main one being: the asymmetrical face plate seems to be installed 180° off, but it’s intentional and I don’t know why (since they all are like that). It should have been spun to cover more of the adjacent cabinet face. If your faces were much wider, it isn’t wide enough to catch the other. If it were spun 180°, it would catch even with a much wider face frame. The other issue, I’ll just get over. I wish they would’ve used reverse threads for the side clamp. You have to spin it counter-clockwise to tighten. Like I said, I’ll get use to it. Just a minor irritant. Other than that, I’m looking forward to using these. Like you said in the video, it can be very frustrating to get a face clamped together, only to have it shift as you’re predrilling the hardwood 🤦‍♂️ 😡 Nice video. Thanks! 👍

I got this as a bogo deal a few years ago. Put a 20v/60v flex battery and that thing runs all day for the regular household jobs. I mainly use that for the dry leaves in my back yard, deck, front porch, and garage. It’s a good blower!

These are great value mics. The only issue is their noise cancellation feature is very bad in a small enclosed room. It is a little better outside. But, for the price point it is hard to beat. The working time is longer than you probably need in most cases, I think it’s 6 hours on the mics and 12 hours on the receiver.
