Recycled billboard material; much stronger, UV protected, cheaper than tarps.

It's hard to pinpoint measurements anywhere. When putting in my air vent through the roof it came out in an unexpected area in my ceiling inside 😝 Also the notches on my bed didn't line up with my bunk frame like I intended though luckily everything still worked well enough 👍 not everything is gonna be perfect all the time. Sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad and that's alright to.

Took my factory shelf out. Was able to fit a plastic shower, plastic sink, plastic toilet, (all with plumbing) and bunk beds!! ☝️😲 Don't be afraid to think outside the box and try experiments! They just might surprise you 👀 had my flops but victories to! 😭👍 ✌️😁

Made mine out of tarps 🟦 and fishing line 🎣 sewed together... Mine also ripped. Damn cats!!! 😑 I'm experimenting with garden wire and hanging PEVA shower curtains 😅

I've been thinking about doing this to my runaway. I even saved the Amazon links for the parts but I had no idea that it was gonna involve even more parts to complete!! Appreciate the tutorial. The best runaway videos out there are the ones that show you how to upgrade and do maintenance 😁 invaluable info!!! Grateful you shared how to do it 👍

I agree. I have done this before, but it is only a 595$ option from Runaway for electric brakes (Rouser). Then just tidy up the wiring and connections to ones liking. This will help save tow vehicle brakes on mountain passes, but most importantly during an emergency panic stop the trailer will stay behind you rather than wrapped around the backside of your tow vehicle especially on slick roads.

I love this because I had a chihuahua who likes to use the puppy pad a few times in the middle of the night. He's a 2-4 a.m. pooper since he was a puppy. I worried I would have to get up and walk him in the middle of the night in some dark area

Have you tried to fill up the FREEZER SIDE with bottled water, say, about have full the total size of the FREEZER AREA to check whether the Alpicool can actually freeze and make them turn to ice? I recently bought an Alpicool T60 but unfortunately even with just one medium-size plastic rectangular case with 300 ml of water place inside the whole box (that is, dividers removed) cannot freeze the water to ice. I set the temp to just single zone at -20 degrees centigrade (or about 4 degrees F) but after 8 hours operation at MAX Mode, it barely made the water to harden. Now I am having difficulty returning the item to the Online Seller for REFUND/RETURN as the period for such had already expired. Hope this will serve as an advance HEADS UP to would-be Alpicool buyers particularly in the ASEAN Region. I am from the Philippines, by the way.

Good morning. Thank you for this test ban which motivated my purchase of the same model in 35l. however, to be able to benefit from the same cold on both tanks I made a small modification which I share here kzbin.info/www/bejne/gom1qquch5qeftk

Are you towing with a Minivan?

i use a 2014 dodge grand caravan, it tows it just fine as long as you load the trailer correctly,
@ChrisBarclay-nd6bj Жыл бұрын
Your setup is exactly what I had in mind. Combining it with a good 10x14 canvas tent but having somewhere to go when the winds pick up. When you say "load correctly" I'm assuming that most of the weight is forward? Also, I like the caravan but Consumer Reports gives it a bad rap, any issues? And is the 2014 the year that has Stow and Go? Did you upgrade any of the oil or water cooling abilities of the Caravan? And what hitch are you using? Thanks
@tikitravelhut3491 Жыл бұрын
always load over the axle for better weight support. i've had the van now for 4 years and it still works great, i dont know when the sto n go was built. i have not upgraded anything on the van except for new rear shocks cause the old ones were basically dead. i use a standard 2" hitch from Uhaul.@@ChrisBarclay-nd6bj

Howdy, I enjoy seeing your videos, keep ‘‘em coming. Can you provide more details on how you connected the wiring to the new turn signals? Does all the wiring for the new right side lights connect only to the right side original turn signal, and the wiring for the new left turn signal connect only to the left original turn signal? Thanks for your help!
@tikitravelhut3491 Жыл бұрын
i used quick splice connectors and just connected each side to the correct original wiring underneath, that way it works with all the correct cables, brake, running and turn lights

Of course, one should NOT put warm drinks in a cooler before you take it out. First, fill the cooler with cold drinks, or buy from a convenience store already cold. It takes a tremendous amount of cooling to cool already warm drinks. There is a lot of heat energy stored in water. Water is a heat sink in case you don't know. Water absorbs much more heat energy than air, a lot more. The cooler needs to transfer all that extra water heat to the outside. This will take a lot of watts and time when you are adding heat into the cooler.

If you are on grid and using it for camping, I would pre chill it with some block ice made in cranberry juice bottles, or tupperware containers instead of using power to cool it down.
