Gregory Hines was one of my favorite entertainers. No disrespect intended, but he didn't look healthy here. He kept his battle a secret.

He'd be heartbroken to see what Venice has become. It's a cesspool now. Homeless people in tents everywhere, urine, feces. Progressive Democrats have really ruined the state in general.

Classic..I saw Gregory Hines at the Troubadour in LA opening for Freddie Hubbard in a folk -rock group called “Severance “ in which he sang and played acoustic guitar . I had zero idea he was a dancer . Years later in the early 80’s , I was busking in midtown playing a Casio keyboard and singing mostly my original tunes . He stopped and listened for a good while and when I finished The Work Song “ by Nat Adderly and Oscar Brown Jr. he tipped me $5 which in 1982 money would be around $15 today.

I saw Gregory at the Apple Pan LA in 2003, probably just before he passed, he was getting major thin and looked like death. After this video was made.

Kate wrote the playbook for Jason Momoa's 'amicable' divorce. Though JM tailed decoys and played cat & mouse with the press, they were spotted together at several Oscar after-parties. Rumor has it that the twosome dated for months Amber, Emilia, Kate, Charlize... JM Is a classic narcissist. The Instagram message was not a joint statement. JM orchestrated (then retracted) the false narrative that the split was a mutual, parting of the ways. Rather, It was "the final discard". Narcissus cares most about protecting his image and the new "Supply" who fuels his EGO. (Sending Ho'oponopono prayers to our sister Lisa Bonet).

Everyone remembers the movie "White Night" but there's also "Running Scared" and "Tap" - one of my favorites - and "Wolfen" and he was even in one of The Muppet movies. So much talent.
@Skank_and_Gutterboy Жыл бұрын
Running Scared comes around on streaming over so often and I have to watch it EVERY time! I never cared for Billy Crystal's humor all that much (typically dour and borderline pissy) but Hines brought out brilliance in him. Gregory Hines is just that kind of guy.
