Easy. For some sick reason, people wanna have a perf items. Idk why. Shako or Arach - it matters for them. Perf spirit will sell 100x much more than random 35% FCR one.

for lightning sorc and especially earily in ladder the difference is big. if u add later the huge mana pool the difference becomes enormous. Other items with stats that dont really matter for me are : the life provided by fortitude, the defence of obedience and the defence of arachnid

Playing SSF , I care a lot about the ED on insight way more than the meditation when running my cold sorc . Sometimes you get that 1 cold immune in ancient tunnels and on /players 8 the merc does help kill it faster. 1 item I would throw on the list , maybe bk ring on a hammerdin lol the life on it that can be battle ordered and +skill is the only important stat , leech can be 3-5 no problem

Okay, this is how you break this game: Select soso(sorc) and start making money. Once money, make games to get books, after that farm decent gear aim for TC aka Thinkin Cap, which has durability of 1. Find a shrine and hope for god it improves the durability a bit, you dont need much. Then go find yellow zombies which reduce your hope, let them get you to 1 hp. Okay now you can't be stunlocked(or hit that much), then just tele around and farm that wizard Lazarus before Diablo as you can't loot Diablo. Btw staff of apocalypse is that a real item? Still when I saw duels between kings haste warrior vs normal soso, it was surprisingly even as warrior can stunlock a soso if he's not rocking that 1hp and manashield. Great poleaxe is best because your merc hits a higher breakpoint while using Andy’s than it does with cryptic axe. You end up dealing more damage per second and also getting more crushing blow and also great poleaxe has more range which is helpful for hitting outside of monsters melee range therefore not getting hit as often.

in single player i spent many hours farming Pindle+Thresh socket, Pit, some Baal with MF 500-700 trying to get Windforce. Got Zod during this, gave up and decided to use BotD in Crusader bow. Had runes but didn't want Faith. You're correct about -lightning res on infinity and defence on shako and enigma, but the other stats on infinity, titan and insight are important for other reasons. You wan't high damage on your javelin not because of killing speed, but because of the amount of leech. For the same reason it's better to have higher damage of the mercenary, because it means they will leech more and have greater survibility. I have noticed there's a sweet spot when a merc is leeching enough to survive and when he isn't, and here big differences in roll certainly can make it or break it. High level aura on insight can be extremely important on certain mana hungry builds. On javazon you don't use insight at all, again why you want a high damage javelin for leeching mana. An even more mana hungry build is a singer barbarian. Here it really was difference beween fail and success depending on insight roll.

A good Javazon won’t need insight when you have a phoenix shield . And yes insight needs high med aura on insight if you going nova sorc with infinity weapon
