It's interesting how this version of the game completely rethemed the map to have a more medieval/castle feel. Reminds me a little bit of E4M6. I don't know if that was due to technical limitations, or just the preference of the developer.

ha, i got to the red armor secret by grenade jumping up to it across the gap. i was sure there had to be an actual way you were supposed to get there but im glad my ingenuity paid off

I remember i rented this from blockbuster. My dad took me before he worked his night shift. It was February and super snowy in Colorado and I remember staying inside all weekend beating this game. First night i was up till 2 or so, and then woke up at 7 ate 2 bowls of cereal while reading an issue of EGM, then got right back to it. This was my first home experience with doom so to me it was new. I played at a friends house on cpu but tht was death match, solo was different. Amazing warm memories

Great playthrough as per usual

This was changed for the PSX version. Int he original Doom you actually die and start the second episode with only a pistol, as well as the third when you slay the cyber demon. I've been going through this on gzdoom. It's really fascinating how much was changed for this version.

I'm surprised LeChuck is much easier here than the 1st game which is not something I see everyday. 🤨Still, with that said, I love Pirate Doom 2 more than the 1st one regardless. What a spectacular wad this is! 😃👏

Shame you never really look back at the cityscape, they re-did this megawad soon after its release and drastically improved the look of every map. At the time, the city at the start of this map was the most realistic I'd ever seen. Fantastic playthrough, though.

This game needs an insult gun fighting. Demon Pirate: I have never seen such clumsy gunplay! Doombrush: You would have, but you were always busy running away! 😛

The level name is a reference to the Anti-Christ as mentioned in the book of Revelation, as a member of Satan's Unholy Trinity.

7:22 is the only sloppy if any I could find in the 30 mins of this level. Then 10:00 is like oh he only dropped it once. So if any there was just 7:22 with lobbing nades at the fast slow fellows when ascending the main staircase post knocking out the 3 Spook Boysz I said wow like 4 times in this run through 🤘

This is the one map that is really big & I do believe this might be a very difficult one to say the least. Wide open areas that alot of people won't like. As for my opinion, it's a good map.

Very annoying this game's part, though i like the game, i have to admit the game have many werid and hard puzzles, it even make the game look bad but i dont think it's a bad game, it's a great one but can have been still better if wasn't that problematic or have any kind information for people follow it, in this game i was always lost/stuck in most of maps after change chapter.

Looks challenging map, I used to play Doom I & II in 1996 and 1997, I remember completing both games with UV-difficulty. Back then I didn't know about WADs.

That final secret with the teleporting Baron reminded me of a similar of Doom 2 map 8 Tricks & Traps vibes. Nice touch I say. 🙂
