The car always understeers by nature. Not as bad on a new tyre run but just a slightly different driving style to allow for it.

Hi Anthony, I think it’s the most user-friendly GT4 car that I’ve driven and has a lot of carry-over DNA from the road car which makes it very confidence inspiring for new and amateur drivers. Definitely not as race-car-esque as the Mercedes AMG for example but as a result, it seems to have a very broad operating window.

Hi Charles. The DDU ‘display’ is made up of a png background image and then the throttle, brake, revs etc. are either text or bar parameters that run off the CAN. We run the Vbox HD2 box in the car so the scene was put together using the ‘Vbox Video’ software. Hope that helps. Enjoy the car, you’ll love it!

Hi Arran, for the engine map we run at Oulton and other tracks of the same grading, we get better torque maxing out 2nd gear. Easier to rotate the car off the throttle on entry and slightly faster exit speed. It looks terrifying from your bike onboard!!

@@mikab7 Your onboard looks far more scarier than being on the bike! Haha! Can't beat Oulton as it's such a challenging track! Are you going to do more videos this year?

@@arranhandsracing19 they’d be dragging me out of the lake if I got on a bike 😂 proper track isn’t it. Definitely going to try and be more proactive this year by getting some more footage up!

Target pressure for slow-medium speed corners is upwards of 100bar to load the car up efficiently and activate the ABS correctly. Physically, it's quite a big initial impact!

@@mikab7 oh wow so I guess ABS doesn’t overheat tires anymore? Used to be that you would try and keep off ABS I seem to remember.

@@ChristianSachaNovak depends on the type of car and tyre I guess but the AMG runs a dedicated ABS system as opposed to a road car derived ESP/ASR which grabs the brakes in the corner and on power for ‘stability’.
