This Eugene Onegin is about the most real love affair I have ever seen acted out. They love each other to death and we are hoping that they don’t kill each other before the opera ends. It is such a deadly affair, superbly acted out by Renee and Dmitri, it brings me to tears in their passion for each other, they are so excellent in their acting and feelings, they should get awards for this!!!

This piece is so sad, and it makes me cry so! I saw Schindler's List when it was first released, and I could barely sit through the film, so shocking were many of the scenes, that I covered my eyes in several parts. I had a German relative living in Dresden during the 2nd WW, and she hid a Jewish girlfriend of hers in her apartment, but sadly, their building was hit by bombs, and both were killed. I have such deep sympathy for the suffering of the Jewish people who were victims of the Holocost; God Bless them all!
