Great videos Im trying to locate the wiper relay on a 2007 gmc yukon xl 5.3 gas My wipers will not work so i changed the motor with the assembly and the multi switch and still not working I also changed the fuses. Any suggestions or video would help locate the relay. Thanks
@notsofast23254 күн бұрын
The Windshield wipers problem could be related to either the switch or the wiring. Check the wiring connections at the wiper motor for tightness and corrosion and see if your getting power there.. Double cut the fuse with a tester. Test the switch with a multimeter and replace if faulty. If the switch is fine, trace and inspect the wiring for any breaks or damage. It is possible that the problem with your windshield wipers is caused by a problem with the engine wiring harness junction block and or the body control module. There is no relay for the windshield wiper; its controlled by the body control module.. The junction block is a central point where all of the electrical wires in the engine compartment meet. If there is a problem with the junction block, it can cause problems with multiple electrical components, including the windshield wipers. And there might be a problem with the wiper linkage or arms. If they are misaligned or damaged, the wipers might not return to the correct down position. Check the linkage and arms for any signs of damage, and ensure they are properly attached and aligned. Good luck

Getting 03 escalade going after 3 years. Power steering very hard to turn and brakes are poor and go to the floor but still provide 30% braking. Is it the hydroboost. Im not sure but power steering pump seems good. But the booster doesn't seem to leak. Brake pettal stiff when suv is off.
@notsofast23256 күн бұрын
Fill your power steering with power steering fluid. Have someone start the car, and have them turn the steering wheel left to right. while there doing that, look at all the hoses that go from your power steering pump to the booster. If there is no leaks. then look under the booster ( see 2:39 ) see if its leaking there. Also make sure the belt tension to your power steering pump is good. good Luck.

I'm looking for the license plate fuse 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV
@notsofast232510 күн бұрын
The license plate lights operate off the same fuse as the left park light and taillight circuits. If both taillights work, the power circuit should be okay. If you have a test light or voltmeter, test for power on the brown wire going to the license plate lights. There could be a kink in the wire in your headliner. Good luck

CHANGE the crush washer on the drain pan to prevent future leaks! The next is a pro/con choice, since the oil filter is being installed in a vertical position, my preference is to add oil to the filter before installation. I do this to prevent no oil to the main bearings on startup, maybe minor to some but remember this is a KIA engine and I don't want to take any chances.
