I really needed to hear this today. I was praying and telling God that I just wonder if my life is meant to be sad. Something ordained before I was born. It's probably unbelievable to people because I'm in ministry. But it's been an extremely sad road. It's like I believe so strongly for the miracles in people's lives around me.....but I struggle to believe for my own miracle. But I believe God's Word is absolutely true. I've been asking God to help me believe that He wants good days for me. Not just sad. I don't want to go back on antidepressants. I want to be healed completely. I just keep trying to be obedient to what God asks me to do in the meantime despite how I feel.

I pray that your depression lifts and joy returns to you. 🕊 The lyric in Jericho also spoke to me: "I've seen you move a thousand times, But doubts are rooted in, Help me in my unbelief, Let faith rise within." I'm schizoaffective (depressive type). The anhedonia and depression can get to be too much sometimes. I had a constant joy in Christ before I got the condition a few years ago. I wish I could experience that joy again, but I know that all things are working for my eternal good. I've received His peace concerning my illness. We can't see what these strange and dark providences are doing but they will not even compare with the glory that will be revealed to us, and in us, when we go to be with Him. ❤🩹

Thank you for your vulnerability. Ministry can be extremely tough and draining. I was in church ministry for a decade, and it’s easy to feel very alone. Will pray for you today, and that in your journey, you can continue to find joy in Jesus, and contentment where he has you 🙏
