The hyksos were 5 tribes of Hitler... amorites (Chinese, Russians , and Japanese), hittite, edomites, Canaanites, Babylon, who became Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Roman and European. Same people, just more mixed thru 1000's of years.

It sounds like Toni might be trying to build a narrative that emphasizes their broader geographic reach or expertise, but mentioning Ottawa multiple times for a project based in Winnipeg does seem out of place-or worse, misleading. It could be a strategic move to align themselves with a specific audience or context (e.g., Ottawa as a political or institutional hub) but ends up confusing the story of the actual project. This type of disconnect can feel like an attempt to elevate their image rather than focusing on the real achievements or challenges of the project itself. When details like that don’t line up, it undermines credibility. If Toni’s work is genuinely impactful, the specifics of the Winnipeg project should stand on their own without dragging Ottawa into it unnecessarily!

This series isn't just a show - it's a mirror reflecting the exhausting reality of navigating spaces built to diminish you. Every microaggression, every moment of silent oppression Ray experiences? That's not just fiction - that's a daily battleground for so many of us who don't fit the "comfortable" narrative. I'm FURIOUS watching this. Not just mad - OVER IT. Mad at the systems that force us to constantly perform emotional labor, to swallow our pain, to be "professional" when we're being systematically erased. Over being told to be the "bigger person" when our very humanity is being challenged. Mad that survival means shrinking ourselves to make oppressors comfortable. Corporate spaces aren't neutral - they're designed as psychological warfare for marginalized folks. We're strategically pushed out to the point where I've myself have "opted out". Every compromise is a wound. Every smile is a shield. Every moment of "keeping it together" is an act of radical resistance. D.I. Ray isn't just telling a story - it's validating experiences that have been silenced, gaslit, and dismissed. It's saying: Your pain is real. Your anger is justified. Your experience matters. ✊🏽✊🏼✊🏿 And to anyone who thinks this is "just a show" - this is our LIFE. Watch. Listen. Learn. In the words of Kimberly Jones "They are lucky we are looking for equality and not revenge." 🌈

This is an excellent presentation. It certainly says a lot about Maynard Dixon and offers a greater appreciation for Dixon and his work. AND this presentation also says much about the sensitivity and knowledge of Mark Sublette, doctor, gallery owner, author.

The thing that gets me is, they talk about people coming here on a land bridge and when ice built up or melted, but ghe more logical is that people came to North America from the south. Maybe mongoloids came from the north, but another ancient race came from the dough, and could have came by current on boats from africa. They are trying to ignore and suppress ancient history.
