Insane work. See them while you still can people. They are truly your ”favorite band’s band” of our generation. Every time I come home after their show, artists all over are posting their clips of them from the same show I was just at. It’s a marvel to behold. Move around the room. Stand in the back, move next to the sound engineers, get closer up front for the energy etc… it’s all a vibe and a damn good time hearing these lads do it live til this day. I will grow old cherishing the time I spent seeing Meshuggah live. Nothing like it. Might sound cheesy but they are truly Immutable in the metal world. They just keep chugging along, always at the top of the game.

Perfectly said. I bought tickets for Toronto to see them next year. I also bought tickets for Tampa because I have to see them again! We are lucky to be alive at the same time as Meshuggah

How is this fucking done? If everything is pre programmed the band wouldn't have any margin of error to fall off the lighting "track". The other idea I'm having is that only general lights are programmed and the lighting tech has to live perform the fine parts basically? In any case, mesmerizing. Definitely a big part of the Meshuggah experience.

I just realized, and this might not be the most apt comparison, that these past few decade or so Meshuggah started having a similar stage presence to Kraftwerk
