I am non native but was married to a part Blackfoot. We use to go to powwows every year. Now, I haven't gone to one in many years and miss it. I find myself searching YT for these videos and watching them. Thank you for posting this. I liked and subscribed.This is some good, high energy, fancy dancing.

How much has it got with a real tradition and is it just a theater??????Many indigenous people adopting dresses and movements from different cultures and for example in Australia it is a grotesque !!!!!!

This dance is amazing! I love it! It fills my soul with joy and happiness. It’s so beautiful and unique! My classmates would make fun of me for the dance, but after I teach them, I bet they’ll join me. I love my culture, it’s so beautiful and peaceful and unique! It’s absolutely amazing! ❤
