I liked the video and the soap recipe. I am a soap maker too. You used a different way of making soap. Not everyone has the ability to buy sophisticated equipment. The hand mixer you used is just clever and a great alternative for those who cannot purchase a sophisticated equipment. Thank you for sharing your ideas and stay encouraged. Ignore the negativity of other comments. Take the good and ignore the bad.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myrrh. Thats about as much as I know. You can get it off amazon, but have no idea of its autheticity. The closest thing you can easily get in India is Guggal which is sort of similar to Myrrh, but not exactly.

Hello, just two things i wanted to say , firstly , you can't use an approximate amount of water to mix the lye , it has to be an exact amount worked out by a soap calculator depemding on your oils ,batch size , etc . Use a soap calculator and put your recipe throught it . Secondly ,you must never pour water on tbe lye , but add lye to your water slowly .
@vikiorganics3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips! Am a bit lazy with figuring out the correct water discount.
@AC-np4dn3 жыл бұрын
@@vikiorganicsIt's very easy to workout , and if you don't use the correct amount of water your soap can be lye heavy or have too much water in it ,which can ruin all your effort and hardwork involved in making the soap ! :)

Lye must be worked out exactly. However, water/liquid is a variable and can be adjusted as long as you use at minimum an equal amount to sufficiently dissolve the lye. Notice he did add the water to lye and there was no explosion or adverse reaction. Many myths have been passed around since the birth of Mr. Google
