This is fantastic - I have a quick question, I have a trailer making background and normally don't have to worry about copyright etc when working for various companies. But I'm wanting to make a personal project, a trailer for one of my fave films with one of my fave commercial audio tracks. I'm using it to showcase my stuff, not to monetize in any way..so do I need to worry? Do you go down any copyright channels - I suppose it's free publicity, right? Hoping to hear from you. P.s I loved the After Sun spot you made - such a great film.

all i do is include the copyright disclaimer in a paragraph to emphasize that i don't intend to claim the work as mine. you can use the template available in the description of my videos. to my knowledge, you should be fine as long as you use less than 30 seconds combined of the audio track, you just won't be able to monetize the video. maybe look to whether there have been other videos using the same audio track on youtube, that's a pretty good sign that the copyright holder allows it for fair use. thank you very much for watching! hope this helps!

Thank you so much for coming back to me on this. That's great will use your disclaimer. Just looking to showcase, not to monetize so that's fine. Yeah so regarding the audio, the trailer will be more than a minute so will be using more than 30secs of the music track. It's actually the New Noise song by Refused, from The Bear.Maybe I should just post it and see what happens anyway, once it's done! Thanks again! @@lunairealm
