So there's this case going on in the courts right now. Alex Jones lost a legal battle in which he ended up owing people hundreds of millions of dollars, so InfoWars ended up being auctioned off. In order to help Alex Jones, Elon Musk argued that all of the accounts on twitter are owned by Twitter. In other words, Alex Jones never owed the InfoWars twitter account. Twitter owns it, and every other account on Twitter, therefor no Twitter account can be auctioned off. This is relevant because the same thing probably applies on youtube and every other social media platform. Shawn James doesn't own his youtube. He signed up for it and put his name on it without paying a dime. They didn't demonetize his videos. They demonetized their videos which just happen to have his name on them because he put things in them that would demonetize their business if they allowed ads to play on them. I've argued this repeatedly with free-speech warrior who think they should be able to say anything on youtube without consequences because they don't like their free speech being infringed upon. But social media is not the public square. Social media is a business. People are using it to make money. That being the case, you can not get your ad dollars and your free speech at the same time. You can not continue to eat the same piece of cake twice and expect to live very long.

This is not the first time somebody complains about youtube saying they're going to leave, only to stay on youtube. He's just venting frustration. Although, to be fair, when you are constantly on the receiving end of verbal abuse, it affects your mental health. He needs to take a break. But since he has been active on youtube for so long, surely by now he would have developed thick skin. So yes, I think there are definitely underlying mental issues. Though I have to say: Not every person with autism has mental issues. They're two different things, dude.

Tried to help Shawn years ago. I told him that he's in NYC and should at least work 2 part time jobs and invest that money on his brand.

It's interesting that all the people defending Shawn are overlooking the following: The countless videos he's made attacking the likes of Eric July, Konkret comics, Kevin Samuels and passport bros. In each case, he fired the first shot. The way he constantly attacks Tia Mowry, Meghan Markle. Halle Berry and other mixed raced women. He has a disdain for interracial relationships yet one of his main characters is the product of such a union. The way he's jumped from red pill to the Manosphere and is now "pro-black". He only became "pro-black" after his falling out with the passport bros who bought him the computer he has now. His glaring lack of experience with both relationships and the job market. Yet somehow people take him as some kind of life guru. He constantly bemoans not having money yet finds 70.00 to buy an action figures. He attacked Knokret comics, even going so far to make a post about putting one of their comics on Ebay because he didn't like that it featured an interracial relationship. What's positive about that? He wanted to get B1 creators "on code" to attack Eric July because of his jealousy. What's empowering about attacking another Black man because you don't agree with his politics? What's positive about that? In short, being attacked for his cadence is the least of what he should be called out for.

The first time ever hearing of the guy was yesterday when that video popped up in my stream. Too early for me to form an opinion yet...although whatever I feel about someone is not always fact. I don't know him personally and I have faults of my own. I feel so many people forget that nowadays. I've deactivated my Facebook and I am also thinking about unsubscribing from KZbin entirely. Too much negativity.

I have been a subscriber to Shawn's content for some time now. Probably since about 2015. He is pretty decent writer whether you care for his published works or not. But real talk he really needs to move on and start living a normal life. For example his employment situation there are all kinds of jobs out here even in our current economic situation. He could get a little gig at like Amazon or something make his little pay check and still make his content like thousands of people who are on KZbin. A man has got to find his own value because people do not care if a man is suffering. You are not a woman and you are not a child so therefore this world has close to zero sympathy for you. Like my old football coach the late great Rick Helmick would say "If your looking for sympathy, you will find it between suicide and syphilis in the dictionary..." Ah the things we remember along the way. Brother I appreciate you making this vid about Shawn he needs our support but we have to be truthful with him.
