Chance sure manufactured some terrific rides like this Musicfest which I think was the predecessor to the Thunderbolt or Alpinebobs that made its debut in 1984 or 1985. Oh wow! Country western music playing on this ride! What a surprise! Anyway, boy this was a long video about this ride which usually lasts for about no more than 3 minutes. This seemed like 5 times that much.

You don’t see this ride much anymore, let alone a gas powered tempest. I sure do miss the good old days of these classic rides 😢 I was lucky enough to ride a Gas powered Tilt A Whirl back in the day and it was just as fast as this Classic! Now a day’s , These Amusement Companies don’t have the guts to push those hydraulic engines to the limit

These trains have been sold after the train closed in 2019. One went to the Fort Worth Zoo and the other went to the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

unfortunately.... the carnival that owns it went out of business. I have no information as to if they still have it in storage or if scrapped or sold to another carnival.

honestly have no idea what happened to it. one day it was there. the next day there was a stinson organ. I believe it was destroyed as it never worked even during the six flags days.
