Hey Joe! I was thinking that if you turn the hole on its edge so it's like a diamond pattern I think it would give it more width at the shoulders,

I wonder, Would it pay to have a matching lure with no hook hanging on a stick in a hole next to you to keep the fish around?

You should have 10x the subs and likes. Extremely educational..your bringing hundreds of years of knowledge to the people for free and it's greatly appreciated. It shall not go unnoticed. The amount of effort this takes is unbelievable. I'm grateful for people like you..Your a badass, hardcore outdoorsman and a prime example of how a person should be. Would love to meet and fish with you someday. I'm located in southern NH. Wish you the best of luck on all your adventures!!

Just got done with 3 months in the hospital and came back to satisfy my craving for Joe and Donnie and some homemade donuts. And danged if YouPuke doesn't say "Joe WHO? Never heard of him." Sometimes I just hate the internet. BTW, I see you're having eggs for breakfast, I'm curious how much they cost... they're $10 a dozen here in Palm Springs.

Joe I enjoy your videos. I want to get up to Maine someday. I live in North Jersey and i have been up to Lk. George in the Adirondacks for lakers i got 7 of them they were all 26 to 28 inches. My guide said the 28 inchers were 7 or 8 lbs is that accurate. The salmon looks delicious i have caught a few of them in Jersey they all have been 2 or 3 lbs. They are getting bigger in the 3 lakes that are stocked with them. Tight lines

Love the video and the doughnuts, but for the love of all that is holy please turn that pot handle in toward the center so you don't bump it & get all stove up from lava-hot grease. Donnie is a Maine legend who must be protected at all costs!

Great to see ya back on the ice! I was told by a biologist to cut the belly out of EVERYTHING. The reason being that the liver deposits belly fat and it also filters out toxins, so things it can't process like mercury, pcbs, pfas, and other nastiness just gets deposited with the fat.

Joe, one of my friends turned me onto your videos. I see that you have an amazing axe collection. He has a tomahawk and wants to buy a new straight hickory handle for it. Where do you recommend buying such handles? Your trapping vids are very detailed and informative. Your passion is evident.

If you cut from the front of the dorsal fin to the front of the anal fin you'll get rid of all the bones and yellow meat. It looks and feels like you're wasting alot but in reality you aren't.

Getting horned is absolutely a bad deal. I'm convinced they have some sort of poison or irritant in their slime.

Down in mass , during a slow day at my shop , my co-worker (a former Maine resident) told me about the tip ups he used when he lived up north. I've used cheap tip ups and plastic beaver dams for years. I checked out the website later that day ( and watched a few of Joe's vids). I ordered (5)20" standards , which should be in tomorrow. I can't wait to try them out at the fishing derby this weekend. Great video!
