No, brown bears are coastal. Grizzly bears live on the interior. All grizzly bears are brown bears not all brown bears are grizzly bears.

You are so lucky. Growing up in bear country I was taught real quick on how dangerous they are. I'm in a 12' row boat following some baby bears. I was being watched, by the mother bear and my father. He screamed to get back in and proceeded to kick my ass while telling me I could have been killed.
