@@honggwan. The SR battery has excellent leakage resistance. The best brand is Engergizer which cost more, the secondl is Sony ( Now Murata) . Well for the price you pay Murata is reasonable and it will last for 2-3 years . Try to Avoid the LR , those are good for others such remote control and it will empty before they leak.

The "It's waffle" ice cream probably is made of Plombir ice cream. Its a type of former soviet ice cream thats smoother in texture, usually much more creamier. Im not actually sure why that is but i feel like everything should be plombir, its so much better, haha

I mean carps are supposed to signify fortune and abundance, so.. I guess thats why the carp ice cream had "cheap and plentiful" in it? Idk, seems to lean on traditional iconage or sth

Thank you for the video. Very interesting. Me and my husband are now the 3rd time in Seoul and I really love shopping at olive young. Can you recommend a place foreigners should visit. Preferably a place that is not to crowded with tourists 😅
@honggwan.
@honggwan. 8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment and connecting with me on Instagram. :-) Of course. It kind of depends on what you or your husband like, but if you like coffee and architecture, I heard the Cheongsudang Cafe 청수당 카페 is a trendy place. Although, this place could be a bit crowded at certain times. map: place.map.kakao.com/78911659 If you plan to visit Busan, I liked the dessert called the Seed Hotteok 씨앗 호떡 map: place.map.kakao.com/1609932845 Busan has a different vibe compare to Seoul. So, it could be worthwhile to visit via KTX Train. Somewhere not crowded... mm.... I liked the grilled Eel place I recently visited in Busan. It was something to see because the employee grilled a gutted and sliced, but still moving eel right in front of my eyes on the table. The place wasn't crowded when I visited. It was very local. The fish was also so fresh (obviously). The place is called 대가숯불장어구이. map: place.map.kakao.com/1659318171 I think the price was 60,000 KRW to 70,000 KRW for 2 people. I hope this helps.

"mhm, supply and demand" so true! haha made me chuckle 😂 i never been to a daiso so this video was really interesting! how interesting how such stores like daiso are able to stay open despite difficult economic times. i definitely could use that mosquito zapper, they like me way more than i like them!

It is good to know that you enjoyed watching my video. Thank you for watching! I mean, I try to communicate with our subscribers as smooth as I can and positive as I can. The "mhm, supply and demand" part was one way of doing it. I could have either don't talk talk about it at all or talk about it in detail, but I decided to put it "as is" given its weight of the topic. Daiso is certainly thriving in this economic situation in Korea. Once again, thank you for watching!

It’s great that a native phone maker is still very popular in Korea (I miss LG though😢). In Japan, Apple just slaughtered most of the native makers there.

My original understanding was that the Samsung Galaxy's position in Korea is pretty strong as I explained in this video. However, the picture may be shifting which I plan to talk about in the future. Yes, I did hear that Apple iPhone is #1 in Japan. Thank you for your comment. :-)

Very interesting & yes that's expensive, it's $3.69 at the local Walmart. I wonder how much the dairy farmers get paid, the cost of grains and fuel for harvesting the crops to feed the cows will also come into play. Polish Farmers probably get some EU farming subsidies, but it's counterproductive to climate change to have to buy such a basic commodity from so far away.
@honggwan.
@honggwan. Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment, jannyrocks1815! I really appreciate it. That is exactly the part I decided to leave out at 4:06; the risen global grain price, the war in Ukraine, and the inflation. I had two reasons. The first was they could be somewhat political or geopolitical. They could be not political, but they carried the possibility to become political. The second was, my understanding is that most of the viewers on this channel are not really interested in hearing about non-entertaining subjects regardless of how I may find them interesting. I’ve probably spent half a day making this video thinking that this could be interesting to our viewers and subscribers, but as you can see, this specific video only got 15 views as of Aug 11, 2023. The result is suggesting me that people are not interested. To go a bit further into the subject of milk, the local farmers here were saying that the cost to produce the cow milk rose. Therefore, they must receive higher price for their milk which do make sense, but at the same time, many consumers here (including myself) found the current Korean milk price too high. Every now and then, the Korean milk cow farmers would purposely dump the produced cow milk into the drain as a demonstration/protest to raise the price or keep the price high. So, I mean… I don’t think they care about the climate change too much. I think they care much more about the Benjamins (or Shin Saimdangs in this case). It’s just a humble observation I made. I wasn’t aware of the EU farming subsidies. Thank you for telling me that. This makes sense why the Polish milk is much cheaper than the Korean milk. I think one of the reasons why the $3.69 price tag for a gallon of milk in the United States is possible it’s because the US (and Europe) got the economy of scale which the Korean milk industry doesn’t have. As you know, mass production leads to cheaper price. The Korean side doesn’t have that. My small expectation is that when the import tax on milk becomes 0% in 2025 (or maybe in 2026, I forgot which one) as per the ROK-US Free Trade Agreement and the ROK-EU Free Trade Agreement, the small scale Korean cow milk farmers will be severely impacted.
