Yes sir great price for these bikes the engine alone will sale for 2k they run them on micro mini carts mine is a 2002 and it had the analog speedo stock call enduro engineering and get there odo delete kit I think it’s $40 it’s a taper machined spacer and seals then install a trail tech speedo very rock solid bikes I bought mine new in 01 so I know this bike pretty good the 510cc is a torque monster they still hold there value well for a 20 year design plus it’s a titled bike street legal with just tires and blinkers I love the GPR too

Thanks, Air screw is 1 3/4 to 2 out Jets are stock 48 pilot and 175 main, its a finicky FCR carb to keep clean and get setup right but its worth it a real work of art with many jets and transitions. this bike likes a good squirt of fuel at throttle opening I use a remote tank setup with carb in my hand off the bike for setup . This engine runs pretty efficient to be a big bore engine it pulls in the gas air mix pretty well. Gobs of torque and go power .. keeps me smiling

Nice. I have a 50 pilot in mine and i forgot the main. Our stock sizes im are probably different though since I have an 07. My fuel screw is more like 3 turns out 🤷‍♂️ It works

The Haynes manual covers this bike from 00 to 07 @ 510 cc engine my bike have a set of twin headers that was changed into a single header in 03 beside back pressure and no one else is using twins. But with the way my bike rips from idle all the way up to full pined I love the twins. This bike is a rocket with the cost of the new bikes and all the smog stuff bogging them down keeps the popularity of this engine strong. Sounds like you have your bike dialed in sea level will effect jetting and air mixture for sure. Check out my drag racing vid where I'm racing the more modern 60 hp rockets. lots of fun. Hard on my bike..

Good. They like the throttle cables stretched! And so do we! My buddy has the 03 450exc with the dual pipes and I heard those seal better to the head and also probably flow better too. Im sure if I found a full double header exhaust system it would be interchangeable with mine. But i dont need to do that, only if I found a solid deal.

@@frankiemarchese2978 Your bike is good to go . Big difference between the 450 exc and the 520/ 525 exc.. a friend had that bike till it got stolen. It was a lot tamer great woods bike for sure. I like the 510 cc big bore bike but I did get worn down running a tight local track or a tight GNCC style race. If I raced again the 450 exc would be the bike of choice the newer bikes are snappier. I like running the stock clutch a reckluse is better for tighter eastern trails, tracks races. If I bought a new bike I think it will be a new KTM 500 xcw or exc with the GET programmer its give great results but the new bikes are 10K and up ouch..It would be interesting to see if there was a difference between the dual twin pipes vs single I bet the 450 bike header will bolt right up to yours. not sure of the changes between the years. cool stuff

Not much I'm more of a trail rider, Been all over West Virginia never an issue, went trough some deep creeks the air box is low I ran a good uni filter . right now I'm running a more open filter and almost drowned my grizzly out in this creek in the video. Its a beast with diff lock loves climbing and good all around atv. I'm running the JD jet and needle kit with a open tip exhaust. Mine is a 2007 its been in a lot of trail battles.. Probably over 2K or close engine hours. Not sure no hour meter I replaced the manual odometer with the trail tech vapor back in 2005 I think .. I raced this bike from 2001 til 2008 Won the local 4 stroke B class state championship 6 th place had 3rd place wrapped up but missed to many races to to make it up. Hit trails woods and mountain terrain almost every weekend for 15 years of its life never hiccuped the bikes completely stock I bought it new in 2001 off show room dropped the gearing down from 48 rear to 51 and went racing Gncc and local Hare scrambles . Besides adjusting the valves and regular oil and filter changes with Bel Ray This bike has been amazing rock solid. I installed a GPR stabilizer KTM Hard parts frame guard hand guards and hit the trails wide open. I had a 1998 300 exc before this bike. Love it Knock on wood I'll probably tear it down soon. Its set up for 3 years so I'm fighting carburetor / Tank gas issues but gradually getting it back to life, I did get the suspension re valved and freshened up about every 10 years or so. its a fun machine for real and will still hang with the new 60 Hp bikes They all want to dirt drag race me. I think the 520 exc stock hp is 48/52 top speed off the show room with a gps taped to frame was 118 mph that was scary..lol

I run the Stock Traxxas batteries with stock traxxas charger 3 cell power cell 5000 mah 25c 11.1 v and also have a set of after market Batts Lectron pro # 3S5200-50T 5200 mah 50c 57.7 wh 11.1v The difference between the 2 sets are minimul I can run in a relaxed state cruising with boat 15 to 20 min Now when I rip it with either set wide open I get 10 Min to 15 Min max This boat Is my go to fun RC rig I have it gets gobs of attention and is well built Ive flipped it twice it will get air born very fast be sure to run the batts as far forward as possible the boat could use a little more weight on front to keep from lifting Love it hope this helps. I have traxxas 5000 for my slash ultimate but ya hear so many stories about there batteries swelling/puffing and only getting a 5 minute run so im just wondering about getting some higher c batteries but then you have to choo the plugs off and put different ones on so im looking for a true honest opinion, also what is your top speed as stock standard will it do 50+ mph as they say? @@jasegazzard3743 Jase Yes sir I'm running the M41 stock out of the box with a few replacement props Ive had to install due to bumping rocks and jumping the boat a few times its been airborne while on the throttle . The price of these boats have came way down from when I bought mine a few years back. I truly cant say enough good things about it. I love the look the sharp precise controls I can run it within inches of obstacles and it turns super sharp and handles very quick and smooth running. You are correct if the Traxxas batteries get damp wet and they will puff up a bit most lipos will and these hulls will seep in water a bit... The Lectron pro batts don't seem to do that as bad . If you take a look at my videos I'm usually goofing around running the boat for 30 45 minutes or so between 2 sets of batteries so I'm doing 10 to 15 hard runs or 20 minute soft runs , I do let the motor cool off between battery swaps. The cooled motors will get hot. But I don' t hold my boat at wide open throttle for long I do burst . Not sure about a true 50 mph I just know its very quick nimble and fast and is a hoot to run and easy to work on and seems well built. This is my first RC boat and don't feel the need or seen another boat out there that I like more. just my opinion. I like the Force paint scheme. Traxxas replaced 1 set of batteries from puffing but the replacement Batteries will do the same. I like the speeds the stock battery has or the kit charger batts that came with mine. . Just get the ends and a good charger I use the Dynamite sport quad and balance board for the aftermarket batteries . I do this RC stuff for the fun and I'm I'm not one to modify a lot of parts if it works great stock. I'm not on here to blow smoke or sale products. Its just a hobby for me I enjoy a lot with the Boats, Planes and heli's , drones and other toys I have for fun . This boat is just a hoot to run the sound and speeds are amazing.. Feel free to ask me any questions and I under stand this hobby is expensive. My channel is all about fun theirs way to much drama with other channels. Check out the Lectron Batteries they have been great. There's several videos that have actually completed high speed runs. The water will need to be slick as glass the boat moves around a lot in choppy water and the front nose is light and will get airborne and flip. just a little weight on front and problem solved. I'm thinking of getting a small go pro and mount permanent which will help with keeping the front end down. The air and speeds will lift this boat up if it had wings it would lift off.. Thumbs up I love the M41!!

@@jasegazzard3743 And I do keep my boat waxed up for great gliding.. Its very hard to hammer full throttle it wants to stand up very fast and fun boat.the above video is normally how I run my boat. I'm 50 years old and just wish I had great toys like this when I was younger.

@@liquidktm hi there yes i have planes and drones and traxxas rc cars, I like your honest opinion im in New Zealand so its bit hard to find after market batteries as this covid 19 has upset the world a bit and hear in nz everyone has bought batteries wish i new someone in the states im much the same just want the boat for fun not to race im 43 so not young myself, you say it leaks water? Is that from the lid? Or does it come through the join wear its put together? Could you run hard pack batteries in it? I appreciate your honest feedback about the boat Cheers
