Decided to watch this to give you a fair chance & hear out your criticism. As someone who's also a huge fan of the Dragon Age franchise & has been into it for about 13 years, this game is for me. I firmly believe the only childish part here is your reaction. Your reaction at 20:45 in particular - how are you going to call a game childish and then act like that? I also don't like that the pride demon is floating, and I also wish we had more control of our characters, but it's been 10 years since Inquisition. Change is OKAY. Origins & 2 & Inquisition all had major differences. I mean I was upset at first when the removed healing from Inquisition, but I moved on & had fun & now I'm glad it's back! The negativity in this video is beyond what I've seen from many others - I mean at 30:22 you're hating on them having Varric talk to Solas? Varric who is one of the most charasmatic characters we've seen in the series and has easily been the heart of the past two games. Gave this a shot, but far too much negativity and hate. Hope you can find some enjoyment from the new game or find a way to tune it all out and enjoy the previous ones - this just isn't it for me.

Yeah I'm not sure why you reacted to this either. You went into this with your mind already made up - super toxic mindset that ruined what could have been some valid criticism. Anyway Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition didn't have intricate/complicated combat so the shift to this style isn't super surprising. Oh and her name is Isabela, not Esmerelda, from Dragon Age 2. The disrespect is what got me. They're so fucking scathing to all the DA:O players. It's so heartbreaking and it's almost impossible to take it as anything other than an insult. When they straight up say that DA:O was not what they wanted and they "always wanted to" turn it into this mess. LIke... OK, but WE MADE THEM and they're now saying the stuff they made that we loved so much was "terrible"? It hurts! And I totally agree, people are saying "well none of the teaser trailers showed the game as it really was, they were all silly"... but NO!. That's not at all accurate. The DA:O and DA:2 trailers may have been obviously cinematic, but the music and the cinematic in those trailers gave me CHILLS!!! They made me WANT to play the game!! I LOVE those trailers. The Veilguard trailer had me crying, and not for a good reason. I was horrified! Regarding the most logical character to carry across as a leader, honestly, I think *Dorian* would have been the most logical! He's coming into his power, he has political connections, he has Inquisition connections, Orlesian connections, friends of friends who have Crow and Qunari and Warden connections, he's best friends with Maevaris Tilani, he's closer to Solas.... and he's VERY well acquainted with the nuances of rift and time magic. It was a no-brainer to have him as the main NPC/Companion. I mean he was even canonically going BACK to Tevinter *just to handle the Venatori mess* !! Hells, even Connor or Anders would make more sense. Or Morrigan!!

Companion teaser: FUCK NO. Gameplay teaser: "I'm concerned, but at least it LOOKS pretty". Release date trailer: "OMG WTF did they do to Varrick and the Darkspawn and the demons and and and... WTF?!". Mage gameplay: "Jesus why am I even bothering". Rogue gameplay: "Ugh I guess it looks bearable, but it's more like GOW meets AC:O meets Diablo4... I have whiplash". And then there's the iconic Blood Dragon Armour behind a pre-order paywall. I can't even. The sad thing is, I LOVE DA. I WANT to be psyched for the game! I WANT to look forward to it and be all hyped. Bioware is making that impossible. I MIGHT play it... after several independent and trustworthy full clear reviews from creators who are NOT on the "Community Panel".... and after it hits a Steam bargain bin sale. I"m not pre ordering. I'm absolutely NOT paying full price, and I sincerely doubt I'll ever buy another bioware game after this. I want closure on the Solas situation. My ME fixation is sated after the mess that was ME:3, and I'm done holding a candle for a company that blatantly STATES to anyone who'll listen, that they are no longer interested in making games that used to be ONLY available from them. 32:24 Wow, both Bane and Lazarus Potion are extremely worthy! Poison only takes 50 % of Health away, but if u Poison Arrows and ur Sword with Bane Potion it kills. (Or the soup.) And Lazarus Potion is a full-health potion.

2:03:01 Agreed, u need to learn those master strokes, they are essential. And hitting the side where the weapon isnt helps too, and using feints, if u remember how to do them. (Holding the attack button but then changing the direction.) The combos are nice to have, but extremely hard to pull of, u cant get parried, need to hit every stroke in the right order.

But Alchemy is the fastest way to make money, u only need to level it up enough to unlock auto-brew, after that its easy. Its tiresome until u got that skillled, though.

Its hard to be sneaky enough there in the nest of vipers quest... if u are highly skilled in stealth with good arrows and some cheese hit and run sneak experience, u can pull or stealthkill them one by one, killing the whole lot eventually... and then u can loot up to 5 horseloads... and then the quest resurrects them all for the assault... and u can loot the camp again after the battle is done... And if u havent learned how to master strike (riposte) at Captn Bernard, the battle will be a pain in the ass.

1:12:13 It doesnt matter if u have ur shield up if ur out of stamina to keep the shield high... stamina is the key defense in KCD, if u have stamina remaining, hits will only cost u stamina, not health. Armor only reduces the damage. But best is perfect parry and riposte, because then u dont use stamina. Have u learned the riposte at the special lesson of Sir Bernard? If not, do it asap, u cant win the tourney or any fight against hard enemies without riposte.

The hardest "very hard" lock requires a minimum Level 15 of lockpicking if i remember correctly. (Level 10 + a potion that boosts stealth and lockpicking by 5.) U can level up lockpicking easily if u regularly sneak out of sight of guards at night, opening all entrance doors of a town/village, its low risk if u dont enter the houses... a dog potion might help to keep the dogs from barking.
